    摘要: Mechanisms for reduction of channel state information (CSI) feedback overhead are disclosed for full dimensional multiple input, multiple output (FD-MIMO) systems with large dimension antenna ports. In one aspect, rank-dependent CSI antenna port measurements are used in order to limit the number of antenna ports for high rank CSI reporting. Another aspect allows a user equipment (UE) to select subband feedback for aperiodic CSI porting on an uplink shared channel when the UE is to report subband quality and precoding indicators. Another aspect provides for on-demand CSI feedback that dynamically configures CSI feedback parameters. To reduce the signaling overhead, the multiple parameter sets may be pre-configured with different values for dynamic reporting parameters.

    摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for enhancing ephemeris for non-terrestrial networks. For example, UEs of different orbit propagation capabilities (e.g., computing orbit propagation models of different accuracy levels) may receive additional ephemeris parameters. In one aspect, a network entity may determine at least one additional set of ephemeris parameters that includes different ephemeris parameters than one or more basic sets of ephemeris parameters associated with a satellite that provides a coverage for the network entity. The network entity may transmit broadcast signaling indicating the at least one additional set of ephemeris parameters. The UE may receive and use the at least one additional set of ephemeris parameters in an orbit propagation model to compute a state of motion of the satellite.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive a periodic reference signal from a base station and may measure the periodic reference signal as part of a beam failure detection (BFD) procedure. To detect a beam failure, the UE may autonomously select a beam failure indicator (BFI) counting scheme from a set of BFI counting schemes and may increment a BFI count in accordance with the selected BFI counting scheme and based on measuring the reference signal. The different BFI counting schemes of the set of BFI counting schemes may feature different techniques or methods for incrementing the BFI count per one or more BFI reports. As such, the UE may selectively choose how to weight different sets of one or more BFI reports in terms of contribution to the BFI count, which may improve BFD detection at the UE.
