Abstract: Method and apparatus for a dormancy indication outside of a discontinuous reception (DRX) active time. The apparatus receives a wake up signal (WUS) outside of a DRX on duration. The WUS comprises an indication indicating one or more parameters associated with a cell within a group of cells to be active during a DRX active time that corresponds to the WUS. The one or more parameters comprising at least one of a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state or a control resource set (CORESET) index. The apparatus monitors for at least one physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) from at least one active cell during the DRX active time using active parameters according to the WUS.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicating a first uplink message using a first uplink carrier and a first timing advance (TA) value associated with a first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state and a second uplink message using a second uplink carrier and a second TA value associated with a second TCI state for the UE. The UE may receive a timing advance group (TAG) configuration which indicates a TA value to apply for a supplementary uplink (SUL) carrier of the serving cell, which is one of the first TA or second TA values. The UE may then transmit a SUL message using the SUL carrier of the serving cell in accordance with the TA value determined for the SUL carrier based on the TAG configuration for the UE.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods for transmissions and retransmissions over a configured grant (CG) physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) and for transmissions over physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources in multi-transmission and reception point (TRP) deployments. A user equipment (UE) may receive signaling configuring a first set of power control parameters and a second set of power control parameters for a CG-PUSCH resource. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may receive signaling activating a first closed-loop power control operation and a second closed-loop power control operation for a PUCCH resource. In some scenarios, the UE may receive a fallback downlink control information (DCI) format activating or scheduling the CG-PUSCH resource or indicating the PUCCH resource. In such scenarios, the UE may employ one or both of a power control selection rule or a transmit power control (TPC) command application rule for a transmission over the CG-PUSCH resource or the PUCCH resource.

Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, wireless communication for transmission of a beam failure recovery (BFR) MAC-CE is disclosed. A method performed on a user equipment (UE) includes detecting a beam failure of at least one beam of a beam group. The method further comprises triggering a BFR in response to the detection of the beam failure of the at least one beam of the beam group. In addition, the method includes generating a BFR medium access control-control element (MAC-CE) that includes BFR information associated with the beam group. Further, the method comprises transmitting the BFR MAC-CE that includes the BFR information associated with the beam group using a transmission resource.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE). The UE receives signaling configuring the UE with a control resource set (CORESET) activated with two transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. The UE further receives a downlink control information (DCI) triggering transmission of aperiodic channel state information (CSI) reference signals (RSs) on aperiodic CSI-RS resources. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device, which may be otherwise known as user equipment (UE) may support repetition of physical downlink control channels (PDCCH) and handling a combined PDCCH candidate associated with multiple search space sets. For example, a UE may combine a first PDCCH candidate corresponding to a first search space set and a second PDCCH candidate corresponding to a second search space set to form a combined PDCCH candidate. The UE may decode the combined PDCCH candidate based on one or more factors, for example, such as a blind decoding PDCCH candidate threshold. As a result, the UE may decode the combined PDCCH candidate in addition to decoding of individual PDCCH candidates, thereby providing increased flexibility for downlink control information (DCI) and improving the reliability of PDCCH.

In one aspect, the UE may monitor the subset of the linked PDCCH candidates, and the UE and the component of the BS may select a reference PDCCH candidate from which to define scheduling information in accordance with the UE monitoring the subset of the linked PDCCH candidates. In some examples, the UE and the component of the BS may select the reference PDCCH candidate in accordance with one or more mutually understood rules or procedures such that the UE and the component of the BS may select a same reference PDCCH candidate.

A user equipment (UE) may be configured to receive a downlink control message scheduling multiple downlink transmission repetitions of multiple transport blocks (TBs), the downlink control message indicating a specified transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state for receiving the multiple downlink transmission repetitions according to the scheduling, the multiple downlink transmission repetitions including a first set of downlink transmission repetitions and a second set of downlink transmission repetitions. The UE may be configured to receive, via a default TCI state different from the specified TCI state, a first subset of downlink transmission repetitions from the first set of downlink transmission repetitions, the second set of downlink transmission repetitions, or both, based on a first time interval between a receipt of the downlink control message and a receipt of at least one downlink transmission repetition failing to satisfy a time duration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a scheduling configuration for scheduling communications on a first component carrier. The scheduling configuration may indicate at least a first downlink control channel candidate on a second component carrier that is linked for control message repetition to a second downlink control channel candidate on one of the first component carrier or a third component carrier. The UE may then receive, from the base station and based on the scheduling configuration, at least one repetition of a control message in the first downlink control channel candidate or the second downlink control channel candidate, the control message scheduling a communication between the base station and the UE over the first component carrier. The UE may then transmit or receive the communication with the base station over the first component carrier.
