Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for beam management for make-before-break (MBB) handover. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes establishing a first cell connection with a first base station (BS) while maintaining an existing second cell connection with a second BS, and determining that a first transmission time of a first signal transmitted by the first BS is less than a threshold time duration from a second transmission time of a second signal transmitted by the second BS. In some examples, the first signal is associated with one or more first communication metrics and the second signal is associated with one or more second communication metrics, wherein each of the one or more first communication metrics and the one or more second communication metrics comprise one or more quality of service (QoS) metrics.

Abstract: A base station transmits an indication of a configuration indicating one or more time-variable parameters for a group-specific wake-up signal (WUS) to an associated group of user equipment (UEs). The base station determines a value of the one or more time-variable parameters based on a time associated with the group-specific WUS and transmits the group-specific WUS to the group of UEs based on the determined value. A UE in the group of UEs receives the indication of the configuration from the base station and determines a value of the one or more time-variable parameters based on a time associated with the group-specific WUS. The UE monitors for the group-specific WUS based on the determined value.

Abstract: Various embodiments include methods, components and wireless devices configured to provide physical layer security in a communication system. In various embodiments, a wireless device processor may receive a first signature from a base station. The wireless device processor may determine a second signature based on the first signature. The wireless device processor may receive from the base station a communication that has been modified using a second signature determined by the base station. The wireless device processor may perform a matching operation to determine whether its second signature matches the second signature used to modify the base station communication. The wireless device processor may enable communications with the base station in response to determining that the second signature determined by its processor matches the second signature used to modify the communication.

The example method also includes sending a CSI report to the base station based on the WUS and prior to the receiving of the data. The example method also includes receiving the data following the respective receiving or transmitting of the downlink reference signal or uplink reference signal.
