Abstract: An acknowledgment (ACK) frame has two parts: a group ACK part and a scheduling information part. In the group ACK part, an ACK/NACK indicator is included for a previous uplink (UL) transmission per station (STA). In the scheduling information part, information included for the following UL transmission per selected STA may comprise, for example, one or more of: a number of selected STAs, a media access control (MAC) address of each selected STA, a data transmission duration per selected STA, a transmission rate per selected STA, a request transmission duration, a pilot transmission order, or a STA transmission order.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for numerology and frames for neighbor aware networks (NAN) in the sub-1 GHz (S1G) band. According to certain aspects, an apparatus for wireless communications is provided. The apparatus generally includes a processing system configured to: determine occurrence of a first type of discovery window for a network that occurs according to a first interval, and determine occurrence of a second type of discovery window for the that occurs according to a second interval shorter than the first interval; and a first interface is configured to output, for transmission in the network, at least one of time synchronization information or service information during at least one of the first type of discovery window or the second type of discovery window.

Abstract: A method of managing a wireless device includes receiving location information via a wireless wide area network interface and identifying a set of access points within connection range of the wireless device via a wireless local area network interface using the location information. The method also includes transmitting information associated with the set of access points to the wireless device via the wireless wide area network interface and transmitting station information associated with the wireless device to an access point within connection range of the wireless device. The method further includes initiating a handoff of the wireless device from the wireless wide area network interface to the wireless local area network interface via the access point based on the information and the station information.

Abstract: Techniques are described herein to communicate policy information and policy information requests between user equipments (UEs) and a core network using control plane signaling. In some examples, non-access stratum (NAS) messages may be used to communicate policy information requests from a UE to the core network. Similarly, NAS messages may be used to communicate up-to-date policy information from the core network to the UE. In some examples, the core network may include number of functions to manage the communication of policy information with the UE. In some examples where the UE is roaming away from its home network, the core network may engage in additional signaling to pass policy information to the UE.

Abstract: A method of communication includes generating a traffic advertisement at a particular device. The traffic advertisement indicates availability of data to be sent by the particular device to multiple devices. An exemplary apparatus includes a processing system configured to communicate with one or more members of a group, that includes the apparatus, according to a first data communication window (DCW) timeline having a first offset relative to a first clock associated with a first network cluster, to detect a beacon transmitted by a device of a second network cluster, wherein the beacon comprises timing information of a second clock associated with the second network cluster, to determine whether to initiate a move of the group to the second network cluster, to generate a frame to initiate the move of the group to the second network cluster, the frame comprising a first indication of the timing information of the second clock, and an interface configured to output the frame for transmission.
