The device is generally steered manually, such as by pivoting an input device to one side.

    摘要: The S.S. Suspension is a pro-active progressive shocking system. The system consists of a front and rear mounted shocking system. The shock mounts adjust to compensate for the external forces on the vehicle. The shock absorbers are mounted to this mounting system in coil over fashion. The S.S. Suspension allows the tires on a vehicle to keep a more consistent and aggressive grip on the contact surface. The suspension allows the chassis to float between the front and rear shocking systems which creates nearly zero chassis roll and an extremely low center of gravity. The suspension system also allows for more controllable vehicle handling over unlevel terrain. This innovative design allows the vehicle to react separately from the suspension system.

    摘要: There is provided a suspension arm mounting structure in which a mounting end portion 2 of a suspension arm 1 is fastened relative to a vehicle body 4 with a bolt 11 and a nut 12 and in which the wheel alignment is adapted to be adjusted by displacing the bolt in a direction orthogonal to an axis thereof through rotation of a pair of plate cams 15, 19 disposed at ends of the bolt, characterized in that a cylindrical collar 13 is provided over a shank portion 11b of the bolt; in that one 15 of the pair of plate cams and an engagement portion 16 for engagement with a turning tool are provided at one end of the cylindrical collar in such a manner as to prohibit a relative rotation therebetween, and in that an engagement portion 17 is formed on the other end of the cylindrical collar so as to prohibit a relative rotation between the cylindrical collar and the other 19 of the pair of plate cams. According to this construction, since the bolt and the plate cam can rotate relatively to each other, tightening can be effected at the head of the bolt. In addition, both adjusting the wheel alignment and tightening the bolt can be performed on the same side by disposing the engagement portion for engagement with a turning tool for use in performing a wheel alignment adjustment on the side of the head of the bolt.

The trailer is attached to the vehicle by an attachment arm that is mounted near the rear axle of the vehicle. A coupler that allows three axes of rotation attaches the trailer to the vehicle.

    摘要: The invention provides a wheel suspension for a vehicle, wherein both a right wheel and a left wheel are carried by a linkage having a first end section and a second end section. The first end section is connected to the vehicle on the opposite side of the vehicle in relation to the respective wheel, and the second end section is likewise connected to its respective wheel. The invention is particularly significant in that the linkages are substantially U-shaped. Each linkage has two legs which are mainly parallel and extend in a substantially transverse direction of the vehicle. The free ends of the linkages constitute the first end section. The linkages also have a closed section connecting the legs. This closed section constitutes the second end section, whereby an open space is defined between the legs of each linkage. At least one leg on one of the linkages extends into the open space between the legs of the other linkage.

A recreational vehicle such as snowmobile or ATV making use of these features also is described.

An extension extending rearwardly of the wheelchair frame includes a bracket coupled to an adjacent rear wheel, which allows the rear wheel to be moved horizontally away from the side of the wheelchair seat. A platform, coupled to a slide bracket attached to the wheelchair, can be positioned to the side of the wheelchair to facilitate access into and out of the wheelchair. The wheelchair access system according to the present invention is designed so that the physically impaired can access the wheelchair without the assistance of another person.
