Abstract: Proposed are a method and apparatus for receiving a PPDU in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, a reception STA receives a PPDU from a transmission STA through a broadband and decodes the PPDU. The PPDU includes a control field and a data field. When the broadband is a 320/160+160 MHz band including first to fourth 80 MHz sub-channels, the first 80 MHz sub-channel includes a first 996 RU, the second 80 MHz sub-channel includes a second 996 RU, the third 80 MHz sub-channel includes a third 996 RU, and the fourth 80 MHz sub-channel includes a first 484 RU. The data field is received through a first multiple RU in which the first to third 996 RUs and the first 484 RU are aggregated.

Abstract: A transmitter is provided. The transmitter includes: a Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) encoder configured to encode input bits to generate parity bits; a parity permutator configured to group-wise interleave a plurality of bit groups including the parity bits; and a puncturer configured to select some of the parity bits in the group-wise interleaved bit groups and puncture the selected parity bits, wherein the parity permutator group-wise interleaves the bit groups such that some of the bit groups at predetermined positions in the bit groups before the group-wise interleaving are positioned serially after the group-wise interleaving and a remainder of the bit groups before the group-wise interleaving are positioned without an order after the group-wise interleaving so that the puncturer selects parity bits included in the some of the bit groups sequentially and selects parity bits included in the remainder of the bit groups without an order.

Abstract: A method for generating a code, a method for encoding and decoding data, and an encoder and a decoder performing the encoding and decoding are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method for lifting a child code from a base code for encoding and decoding data includes determining a single combination of a circulant size, a lifting function, and a labelled base matrix PCM according to an information length and a code rate using data stored in a lifting table. The lifting table was defined at a code generation stage. The method also includes calculating a plurality of shifts for the child code. Each shift is calculated by applying the lifting function to the labelled base matrix PCM with a defined index using the circulant size and using the derived child PCM to encode or decode data.

Abstract: An input selector for selecting an input of a convolution encoder of a transmitter is disclosed. The input selector comprises a shaper block and an input-select block. Abstract: Polar codes may be generated with a variable block length utilizing puncturing. Some puncturing schemes consider punctured bits as unknown bits, and set the log likelihood ratio (LLR) for those bits to zero; while other puncturing schemes consider punctured bits as known bits, and set the LLR for those bits to infinity. Each of these puncturing schemes has been observed to provide benefits over the other under different circumstances, especially corresponding to different coding rates or different signal to noise ratio (SNR). According to aspects of the present disclosure, both puncturing schemes are compared, and the puncturing scheme resulting in the better performance is utilized for transmission.
