Abstract: A method, a device and a system for implementing quick charging are provided. The method includes: a mobile terminal and a connected adapter respectively switching signal lines which extend into a charging interface to be connected with charging lines; and the adapter charging the mobile terminal with a set high-order power mode. The present disclosure uses the existing signal lines to thicken the charging lines, thereby the charging current is increased and the purpose of implementing quick charging is realized.

Abstract: In general, techniques are disclosed for efficiently transferring power from a portable power bank to an electronic device. More particularly, a disclosed power bank incorporates a switching mechanism capable of routing battery voltage (novel) or a stepped-up voltage (e.g., from a boost regulator) directly to a common portion of an output connector. In addition, electronic devices as described herein also incorporate a switching mechanism to allow them to accept direct battery output (novel) or a stepped-up voltage at a common portion of the device's connector (e.g., a USB connector). When used in combination, the disclosed portable power bank can transfer power to the electronic device with no more than half the loss attributable to voltage conversion operations of the prior art.

The wireless charging module has a substantially planar shape. The battery pack has a substantially planar shape and is configured to store power from the wireless charging module. The circuit board substrate is configured to control operation of the mobile terminal. The wireless charging module overlaps with each of the circuit board substrate and the battery pack.

Abstract: An interface-adapting device includes an OTG (on-the-go) adapting interface and a voltage-dividing module. The OTG adapting interface is configured to connect an electronic device to an expanding device or to an external power source. The voltage-dividing module is configured to receive an input voltage of the electronic device. When the OTG adapting interface is configured to connect the electronic device to the expanding device, the voltage-dividing module transmits a ground voltage to the electronic device; when the OTG adapting interface is configured to connect the electronic device to the external power source, the voltage-dividing module transmits a divided voltage to the electronic device, so that the external power source is configured to charge the electronic device.

Abstract: Disclosed is an optimized battery charging method based on thermodynamic information of a battery. Thermodynamic information on a material structure of a battery, for instance, entropy of the battery is extracted. Boundary points at which state transitions of the battery material are determined using the thermodynamic information extracted. Phases of the battery are identified based on the boundary points determined. The most appropriate charging patterns adapted to each of the phases identified are determined. A charging algorithm for charging the battery can be constructed by combining the most appropriate charging patterns determined. This charging algorithm is applied to the charging of the battery.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to methods and apparatus for wirelessly charging a device having a wireless power receiver with a dead battery. One example method for safely wirelessly charging an implantable device, with an apparatus, generally includes determining that the implantable device has a dead battery; based on the determination, wirelessly transmitting power from the apparatus at an initial level for a first interval; checking for a first signal received from the implantable device during or at an end of the first interval or a period associated with the initial level; and if no first signal is received from the implantable device, increasing the transmitted power to a higher level for a second interval.

Abstract: A case for an earbud includes a receiving cavity sized and shaped to accept the earbud within the receiving cavity. The case includes one or more housing magnetic components configured to magnetically attract and secure the earbud within the receiving cavity. The one or more housing magnetic components can be configured to form a Halbach array to increase the magnetic force of the one or more housing magnetic components. The earbud includes a speaker magnet and a separate magnetic element that are arranged to be attracted to the one or more housing magnetic components such that the earbud is attracted into the receiving cavity.
