One example provides a method, comprising receiving a first rendered image comprising content associated with a viewer reference frame, receiving a second rendered image comprising content associated with a manipulator reference frame, and reprojecting the first rendered image based on a head pose of a user to thereby produce a first reprojected image. The method further comprises reprojecting the second rendered image based on the head pose of the user and a pose of the manipulator to thereby produce a second reprojected image, and outputting the first reprojected image and the second reprojected image for display as a composited image.

Abstract: An electronic device and a method for displaying an image transmitted by a robot and remotely controlling a movement of the robot are provided. The electronic device includes a communicator, an inputter, a display, and a controller. The communicator receives, from the robot, an image photographed by the robot and time information. The inputter receives a command to control the robot. The display displays a screen corresponding to the image. The controller calculates a time delay between the electronic device and the robot based on the time information, control the display to display a graphical object to be overlaid on the screen, and control the communicator to transmit the command to the robot. The graphical object represents a field of view of the robot at a current time. The field of view of the robot at the current time may be estimated based on the time delay information.

Abstract: A data processing system includes a graphics display component for creating an image to be displayed and a method therefor is described. The graphics display component includes: a layer selection module configured to: identify a set M of active layers for at least one pixel to be displayed; and a display controller unit, DCU, operably coupled to the layer selection module and comprising a blend manager; and at least one processor and one or more processing units. The at least one processor is configured to determine whether a number, m, of active layers in the set, M, exceeds a blend limit, n, of a maximum number of graphical surfaces that can be blended simultaneously by the DCU and, in response thereto, identify a subset N of up to n layers from the set M of active layers. The blend manager; is configured to bind a first portion of active layers directly to the DCU and output any excess active layers in the set, M, that exceeds the n layers to at least one selected processing unit for blending. The DCU is configured to generate composite pixel data to be displayed based on separate blends from the DCU and the at least one selected processing unit that blended the excess active layers in the set, M.

The image processing method includes: receiving image data; detecting an ambient temperature and an ambient brightness to obtain a detection result; when the ambient temperature is lower than a preset temperature value, selecting the image data to be divided into a plurality block data by display location or gray level range according to the ambient brightness, and performing a blur process on the block data to generate adjusted image data; when the ambient temperature is not lower than the preset temperature value, performing a binary process on the image data to generate the adjusted image data; and driving the second display panel according to the adjust image data.

Abstract: A head-mounted display apparatus worn on the head of a user and a method for controlling the head-mounted display apparatus are disclosed. The head-mounted display apparatus includes a gesture sensor that detects a swipe gesture manipulation that indicates a direction, the swipe gesture manipulation being performed in a manipulation space, a display, a processor, and a memory storing a program. The program, when executed by the processor, executes a switching operation, in which first display information to be displayed on the display is switched to second display information according to the direction indicated by the swipe gesture manipulation detected by the gesture sensor.
