Abstract:
The APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR REMOTE DEPOSIT CAPTURE WITH ENHANCED IMAGE DETECTION (hereinafter “RDC-Detection”) provides a platform for remote deposit by submitting captured images of a check via a user device, wherein the RDC-Detection transforms captured check images and/or entered check deposit information inputs via RDC-Detection components into deposit confirmation outputs. For example, in one embodiment, a financial institution may receive a check image captured by a scanner, a camera, and/or the like, and process the check image to extract deposit information to process the deposit request.
Abstract:
A system, method and computer-readable medium are provided to enable digital bank endorsement. A digital image of a back side of a check may be placed in a computer memory. Appropriate coordinates for a bank endorsement may be determined. A bank endorsement may be automatically generated. The digital image may then be electronically altered by overlaying, merging, or rendering text of the generated bank endorsement. A modified digital image may be combined with an image of the front side of the check and stored and/or exported to check clearing operations.
Abstract:
A pre-paid debit or credit card account, and an associated pre-paid debit or credit card, is provided to a consumer for use with one or more check conversion stations. The check conversion stations include a card reader for obtaining user account data associated with the consumer's pre-paid debit or credit card account from the pre-paid debit or credit card and a paper check scanner for obtaining check data from a paper check provided by the consumer. At least part of the user account data and the check data is then subjected to analysis, verification, and/or approval of a transfer of at least part of the funds indicated by the check data to the balance of the pre-paid debit or credit card.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the sphere of information technologies, in particular, to electronic systems and monetary-fund circulation methods and can be used for solving problems of mutual settlements between participants of the electronic payment system in real-time mode. In doing so, the analogue of monetary funds in the invention presented are electronic bank bearer checks complying with bank regulations and the requirements of applicable legislation. The client application units are rendered as grouped into modules by categories corresponding to the user status determined by the unit of authorization of the client and server applications, with provision of the possibility of pre-setting a group of check circulation parameters for each category. The issue of checks is accompanied by the creation of legally-valid documents and reflection of transactions in the check register.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer readable media for facilitating a remote deposit to a prepaid card account are disclosed. In one example, the method includes receiving, via an application programming interface (API) supported by a central switch node, a web based service message containing a load request from an acquiring entity. The method further includes utilizing, at the central switch node, the load request to identify an issuing entity that hosts a prepaid card account associated with the load request from among a plurality of issuing entities and communicating the load request from the central switch node to the issuing entity.
Abstract:
Apparatus and methods for bill integration are provided. Checks issued by a bill-pay vendor may be integrated into a daily issue file and be presented to a user for review. The review may include selecting one or more check service to be applied to a check. The presenting may including marking checks and images corresponding to items received from a bill-pay vendor. Credit card transactions initiated via a bill-pay vendor may be integrated into the daily issue file. Checks received from the bill-pay vendor may be numbered into a range that is not a user-generated range. Bill-pay integration may include just-in-time funding of payments initiated through the bill-pay vendor. The daily issue file may be accessed via a mobile device, and may be filtered based on an entitlement associated with the mobile device.
Abstract:
Embodiment for detecting duplicate images include systems for determining that two or more of the images have similar key attributes such as attributes related to certain data in the images or image quality. Further, the embodiments include superimposing at least a portion of a first image of the two or more images over at least a portion of the second image of the two or more images, comparing the first image and second image; and determining whether the first image and the second image are identical.
Abstract:
A method of paying a merchant for a transaction associated with a program. The method including the steps of receiving a request from a merchant for a payment associated with a purchase, generating a payment identifier, generating a payment number having a predetermined limit amount and a predetermined expiration date, associating the payment identifier with the payment number and transmitting the payment number to the merchant for payment of the request.
Abstract:
Apparatus for electronically notifying an individual of an incomplete transaction associated with a received correspondence item is provided. The apparatus may include a receiver for receiving a single paper correspondence item associated with a first correspondence. The apparatus may include a processor for deriving a digital image from the paper correspondence item. The processor may be configured to determine, based on the derived digital image, whether the correspondence item is a paper check. In response to the determination of the correspondence item as a paper check, the processor may be further configured to use a real-time notification channel to notify the individual of receipt of the paper check. The notification may be based, at least in part, on the identification of the individual. The processor may be further configured to use the real-time notification channel to present at least one option for identification of an account to which the check should be applied.
Abstract:
In a value transfer scheme, users are provided with programmable devices, for example, smart cards, capable of carrying data representing at least one available commodity value. Data representing user accounts is held at a remote processing station. Transactions between users are effected by the off-line exchange of data between users' respective smartcards, the exchanged data containing a record of each transaction entered into. The user account data for each user's account held at the remote processing station is updated only subsequently when the user's smartcard is on-line to the remote processing station and data therefrom is uploaded to the remote processing station. The scheme of the invention can, conveniently, be based around the ITSO scheme which is used to govern the secure transfer of data The scheme is capable of providing a secure multi-commodity value transfer system.
