摘要: An arithmetic operation processing device configured to: store first data as a comparison target value, compare the comparison target value with a comparison value having data other than the first data, update the values based on the comparison, sequentially acquire the comparison values and acquire the comparison target values of the comparison update parts, read data that initially becomes the K comparison target values, transmit the K comparison target values to the K comparison update parts of the data comparing part, when all the comparison target values are read from the data storage buffer, read all data other than the data that becomes the comparison target values from the data storage buffer, and in a case in which comparison of a second time or a subsequent time is performed, reflect update details until comparison of the previous time in the data and output resultant data to the comparison update part.

摘要: A machine learning hardware accelerator architecture and associated techniques are disclosed. The architecture features multiple memory banks of very wide SRAM that may be concurrently accessed by a large number of parallel operational units. Each operational unit supports an instruction set specific to machine learning, including optimizations for performing tensor operations and convolutions. Optimized addressing, an optimized shift reader and variations on a multicast network that permutes and copies data and associates with an operational unit that support those operations are also disclosed.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for determining whether a media presentation device is in an on state or an off state are disclosed. A disclosed example method comprises determining contribution values from at least one of a signal measured from a sensing device or an output signal accessed from the presentation device, wherein the contribution values are indicative of a state of a presentation device. Summing, via a logic circuit, a first plurality of the contribution values corresponding to a first measurement cycle to generate a first intermediate fuzzy score for the first measurement cycle. Storing the first intermediate fuzzy score in a buffer including a plurality of intermediate fuzzy scores corresponding to respective measurement cycles. Combining, via the logic circuit, the intermediate fuzzy scores corresponding to a first time period to form a final fuzzy score. When the final fuzzy score satisfies a threshold, setting the state of the presentation device as on and enabling crediting of media presented by the presentation device.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for determining whether a media presentation device is in an on state or an off state are disclosed. A disclosed example method comprises determining first and second characteristics of a signature associated with a signal representative of media content presented via a media presentation device, evaluating the first and second characteristics to determine first and second fuzzy contribution values representing, respectively, degrees with which the first and second characteristics correspond to the media presentation device being in at least one of an on state or an off state, determining a third fuzzy contribution value based on a number of the first and second contribution values indicating the media presentation device is in one of the on or off states, and combining the first, second and third fuzzy contribution values for use in determining whether the media presentation device is in the on state or the off state.

摘要: An adaptive information processing system includes a module, called a Nestor module, having a plurality (N) of input terminals 1, 2 . . . , j . . . , N, adapted to receive N input signals s.sub.1, s.sub.2 . . . , s.sub.j . . . , S.sub.N, respectively, and a plurality (n) of output terminals 1, 2 . . . , i . . . , n, adapted to present n output responses r.sub.1, r.sub.2 . . . , r.sub.i . . . , r.sub.n, respectively. A plurality of junction elements, called mnemonders, couple various ones (or a multiplicity) of the input terminals with various ones (or a multiplicity) of the output terminals. These mnemonders provide a transfer of information from an input terminal j to an output terminal i in dependence upon the signal s.sub.j appearing at the input terminal j and upon the mnemonder transfer function A.sub.ij. Means are provided for modifying the transfer function A.sub.ij of the mnemonders in dependence upon the product of at least one of the input signals and one of the output responses of the Nestor module. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the modification to the transfer function of each mnemonder takes the form: ##EQU1## WHERE .eta. IS A CONSTANT OF PROPORTIONALITY.

摘要: A learning machine in which threshold values corresponding to the desired output conditions and having a dead zone therebetween are used during the learning process for the discrimination of the output from a memory storing a plurality of standard pattern information, and this discriminating faculty is utilized for the discrimination of input pattern information with respect to a single threshold value having no dead zone. Thus, the precision of discrimination can be remarkably improved due to the fact that the threshold values having a dead zone are used during the learning process, and the learning can be digitally and automatically carried out.

摘要: A learning machine having a decision element, a comparator, a learning pulse generator, a monostable circuit, a multistable circuit, a control switch circuit and a signal delay circuit. All these circuits are in the form of logic circuits whereby the machine can fully automatically and digitally be controlled until an actual output derived in response to application of input patterns coincides with a desired output value for the correct classification of the input patterns.
