Abstract: A gastrointestinal stimulation devices including a random stimulation delivery mechanism(s), configured to provide stimuli to a bodily tissue in a vicinity of the stimulation capsule, the provided random stimuli being characterized by a stimulation parameter, and a control circuitry in communication with said physical stimulation delivery mechanism, and configured to set and alter the stimulation parameter non-systematically, thereby altering the characterization of the stimuli provided to the bodily tissue. The algorithm may be patient tailored, and may have a learning machinery which responds to data being received from the patient.

Abstract: A sexual stimulation device comprising: (a) an elongate member comprising a proximal end, and a distal end dimensioned for placement in an orifice of a user; (b) an external stimulation arm comprising a proximal end, a distal end, and an external stimulation surface; and (c) a flexible connecting portion that connects the elongate member to the external stimulation arm at their respective proximal ends; wherein the flexible connecting portion permits movement of the external stimulation arm relative to the elongate member between an open position and a compressed position.

Abstract: An apparatus for providing therapeutic rehabilitation exercise to bedridden individuals and patients, including comatose individuals. A vertical support column extends upwards from a base, with one or more arms extend from the vertical support column, each providing a rotary mechanism at the distal end, with pedals or handles attached thereto. The individual's feet or hands are secured to the pedals or handles, respectively. Straps, brackets, or other fastening means may be used to secure the feet and hands. An electric motor causes the rotary mechanism to move the pedals or handles in a rotary fashion, thereby providing movement and exercise for the individual's legs and arms.

Abstract: A massage system includes a massage machine that has a treatment unit for treating the treatment target person, a control unit for controlling the treatment unit, a voice input unit, and a voice output unit, and a server that is connected to the massage machine via a communication network. The massage machine transmits voice information of the treatment target person which is input from the voice input unit, to the server via the communication network. The server causes an artificial intelligence unit to determine treatment suitable for the treatment target person, based on the voice information of the treatment target person, and transmits the treatment to the massage machine. The massage machine is configured to output the transmitted treatment from the voice output unit.

Abstract: A device for stimulating the Meissner's Corpuscles along the front plantar portion of the foot or feet of a person is provided. The device has a platform disposed upon motion guides for movement up and down with respect to a base. The platform has a shaped surface for ease of placement of at least the front plantar portion of at least one foot of a person seated in front of the device in which the back or heel portion of the foot is disposed away from the device. One or more inertial actuators are attached to the platform underneath its surface. A controller controls operation of the actuator(s), via signals to a driver, to move the platform with respect to the base in a sinusoidally varying motion at a user selectable stimulation level. The stimulation level may be set wirelessly via an external device, or by manually tilting the device.

Abstract: A system includes a sequential compression device (SCD) used by a patient as part of a sequential compression therapy (SCT) protocol. The system also includes a computer device that determines whether the SCD is in use in substantially real time in compliance with the protocol. The computer device initiates a notification to a caregiver if noncompliance with the SCT protocol is detected.

Abstract: A machine that combines three sections bound to each other by the corresponding dynamic swivels that are driven from a remote control of adjustment and command (R). The first section constitutes the main body (A) wherein a fixed frame whereby a sliding carriage (D) is defined, which is arranged associated with a first motor reducer (M1) which drives its rectilinear movement, in the horizontal plane and in both senses; said sliding carriage (D), by one end, is bound to an intermediate arm (B), which makes up the second section of the machine, being arranged over a pivoting transverse axis that is into a first dynamic swivel, which is arranged associated to a second driving motor reducer (M2) so that said intermediate arm (B) may make a pivoting movement in the vertical plane, with circular direction in both senses; said intermediate arm (B), by its other end, is bound to a head of the massage actuator (C), that makes up the third section of the machine, being arranged over a transverse axis that forms a second dynamic swivel, which is arranged associated to a third driving motor reducer (M3) so that said head of massage actuator may make a pivoting movement in the vertical plane, with circular direction in both senses; an actuator piston (P) is arranged into the head of the massage actuator (C) which transforms the rotating movement that transmits the output axis of a fourth motor reducer into an alternative linear movement that is transmitted to the piston for massage (23); constituting the four motor reducers an electronic driving installation by remote control, through which the positioning of each of the mobile parts duly bound to the rotating coders and end-of-travel positions is commanded. The electronic driving installation is comprised of the electronic controlling plate (E) installed in the main body (A) and includes a remote control processor (MP2) that receives the order, processes the information and sends it through the FR antenna (a4) of the remote control (R), to the FR antenna (a1) of the electronic system (E) installed into the machine, that communicates the information to its processor (MP1). The electronic installation of remote control includes the option of saving, through memories, the previous adjustment that the user establishes in each case.

Such a device may include a base having a proximal end and a distal end, a guide coupled to the base, a carrier configured to move along the guide, a tensioner coupled to the base and configured to provide a force to the carrier to move the carrier toward the distal end of the base, causing a leg to be put in tension, and a single body coupling mechanism being removably attached to the carrier and being configured to securely attach to a lower portion of a leg when the body coupling mechanism is detached from the carrier.
