    摘要: An information providing system includes a plurality of charging stations, a vehicle equipped with a power storage device, and a management server. The vehicle may charge the power storage device by using electric power supplied from the charging station. The management server may communicate with the vehicle and the plurality of charging stations. The vehicle sends information about a destination designated by a user to the management server. Upon receiving the information about the destination from the vehicle, the management server acquires congestion information indicating a congestion degree of a charging station installed in the destination among the plurality of charging stations and incentive information from a charging station installed around the destination among the plurality of charging stations, and sends the information to the vehicle. The vehicle displays the information sent from the management server to the user.

    摘要: A VCIB interfaces between an autonomous driving kit (ADK) and a vehicle platform (VP). The VP includes as vehicle modes, a manual mode in which the VP is under the control by a driver and an autonomous mode in which the VP is under the control by the ADK. When a first condition is satisfied in the manual mode, the VCIB has the vehicle mode make transition from the manual mode to the autonomous mode. The first condition includes (1) a condition that the VCIB has authenticated the ADK, (2) a condition that a power mode status signal indicates “drive mode,” (3) a condition that a readiness-for-autonomization signal indicates “Ready for Autonomous Mode,” and (4) a condition that a vehicle mode request indicates “Request for Autonomy.”

The VCIB is configured to provide a standstill status signal to the ADS. The standstill status signal includes a value applied indicating activation of brakehold and a value released indicating release of brakehold. The ADS includes a compute assembly. When the compute assembly requests the VP to activate brakehold, it requests the VP to decelerate until the standstill status signal switches from the value released to the value applied.
