    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. Disclosed is a method of boosting power of a phase tracking reference signal, PTRS, in a telecommunication system, wherein PTRS is used in an uplink transmission and two PTRS ports are configured and whereby the power boosting is defined based on relationship of the power to a number of PUSCH layers.

    Abstract: A method of user equipment (UE) for channel state information (CSI) reporting in a wireless communication system. The method comprises receiving, from a base station (BS), configuration information for the CSI reporting, configuring a plurality of combinations of resources out of a pool of resources, wherein the pool of resources includes two channel state information-reference signals (CSI-RSs) and one channel state information-interference measurement (CSI-IM) based on the configuration information, wherein the two CSI-RSs include CSI-RS1 and CSI-RS2, deriving CSI values from the plurality of combinations of resources, respectively, to generate a CSI report message; and transmitting, to the BS, the CSI report message including the CSI values.

    Abstract: A first relay node in a wireless communication system receives, from a second relay node via a backhaul link, coordination information including an index indicating a density pattern of a second phase tracking reference signal (PTRS). The first relay node transmits, to a terminal, configuration information including information on a first subcarrier offset for a first PTRS. The first relay node transmits to the terminal the first PTRS based on the coordination information and the information on the first subcarrier offset. The first subcarrier offset for the first PTRS is different from a second subcarrier offset for the second PTRS.
