    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for discovery burst transmission for a sidelink (SL) in a wireless communication system. A method of a user equipment (UE) includes identifying a set of sidelink (SL) synchronization signals and physical SL broadcast channel (S-SS/PSBCH) blocks for a SL discovery burst, determining a transmission duration of the SL discovery burst, and determining a duty cycle of the SL discovery burst. The method further includes determining, based on the transmission duration and the duty cycle, a type of SL channel access procedure; performing, based on the type of SL channel access procedure, a SL channel access procedure; and transmitting the SL discovery burst after successfully performing the SL channel access procedure.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for frequency domain enhancement on physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) in a wireless communication system. A method of operating user equipment (UE) includes receiving a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) that enables a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback and determining an interlace from a set of interlaces. Each interlace in the set of interlaces includes a first set of resource blocks (RBs) with a uniform interval. The method further includes determining a RB set with contiguous RBs, determining, based on an intersection between the interlace and the RB set, a second set of RBs for a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) transmission, performing a sidelink (SL) channel access procedure and transmitting, after successfully performing the SL channel access procedure, the PSFCH carrying the HARQ feedback in the second set of RBs.

A method of user equipment (UE) method includes receiving a set of configurations, determining a set of time and frequency domain resources for at least one SL transmission based on the set of configurations, and determining a duration for a cyclic prefix (CP) extension based on the set of configurations. The method further includes extending a first OFDM symbol of the at least one SL transmission for an interval preceding the first OFDM symbol with the duration for the CP extension and transmitting the at least one SL transmission.

    Abstract: A UE includes a receiver configured to receive a first configuration for a first CORESET, a second configuration for a reception of a first CSI-RS, and the first CSI-RS. The first configuration includes a first TCI state. The TCI state for a CORESET indicates a set of quasi co-location properties for a PDCCH reception in the CORESET. A PDCCH includes a DCI format. The processor is configured to compute a first CQI value, based on the first CSI-RS, for a first PDCCH reception in the first CORESET and at least one CQI value based on the first CQI value.     Abstract: A method of a first UE comprises: determining a sidelink synchronization identity (SL-SID) and a set of resources; generating at least one sidelink synchronization signal and physical broadcast channel (S-SSB) based on the SL-SID and the set of resources, wherein each S-SSB of the at least one S-SSB includes first two symbols for a sidelink primary synchronization signal (S-PSS) and second two symbols for a sidelink secondary synchronization signal (S-SSS); generating a first sequence corresponding to the S-PSS, wherein the first sequence is determined based on a binary phase shift keying (BPSK) modulated M-sequence with a 127 of sequence length and a low cross-correlation with a PSS; generating a second sequence corresponding to the S-SSS, wherein the second sequence is determined based on a BPSK modulated Gold-sequence with a 127 of sequence length; and transmitting, the at least one S-SSB over sidelink channels established with the second UE.
