摘要: Methods and apparatuses for UL reference signal-based beam management. A method of operating a UE includes receiving configuration information for UL reference signals for beam management, source reference signals for spatial relation, and a beam report; receiving the source reference signals; and measuring a signal quality metric for the source reference signals for spatial relation. The method further includes transmitting a beam report based on measured signal quality metric and receiving, in response to the beam report, updated configuration information for the UL reference signals for beam management. The method further includes determining a time for update of the UL reference signals for beam management and transmitting the UL reference signals for beam management based on the updated configuration information at the determined time.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for predictive beam management in a wireless communication system. A method of operating a user equipment (UE) includes receiving configuration information for transmission configuration indication (TCI) states; receiving information indicating a number of TCI states and a number of corresponding TCI state application times; and determining, for one or more TCI states in the number of TCI states, at least one of downlink (DL) quasi-co-location (QCL) properties for DL communication and an uplink (UL) spatial domain filter for UL communication. The method further includes at least one of receiving, using the determined DL QCL properties, DL channels starting at the corresponding TCI state application times and transmitting, using the determined UL spatial filter, UL channels starting at the corresponding TCI state application times.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses in a wireless communication system. A method of a first UE comprises: receiving, from a second UE, a first PSCCH and a first PSSCH, wherein the first PSCCH and the first PSSCH include SCI comprising a source ID, a destination ID, and SL DRX time information indicating when the first UE monitors or skips at least one of a second PSCCH and a second PSSCH for the SL DRX operation; configuring SL DRX timers per pair of the source ID and the destination ID; configuring a value of at least one of the SL DRX timers based on information of the SCI; and receiving the at least one of the second PSCCH and the second PSSCH based on the SL DRX timers when the SL DRX operation is applied to a SL communication identified by the pair of the source ID and destination ID.

A method of operating a UE includes receiving a number (M) of transmission configuration indicator (TCI)state code points activated by a medium access control element (MAC CE) and, if the UE is configured to be indicated TCI state code points on DL control information (DCI) and M>1, receiving the DCI that indicates at least one TCI state code point from the M TCI state code points and determining a TCI state to apply to at least one of downlink (DL) channels and uplink (UL) channels. The method further includes updating one or more spatial filters for at least one of the DL channels and the UL channels based on the determined TCI state and at least one of receiving and transmitting the DL channels and the UL channels, respectively, based on the updated one or more spatial filters.

摘要: A method for operating a user equipment (UE) comprises receiving configuration information about a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state indication via a downlink control information (DCI), the configuration information including a set of TCI states and information for configuring the DCI from one of a downlink (DL) DCI (DL-DCI) and a DL-TCI-DCI, wherein the DL-DCI schedules a DL physical DL shared channel (PDSCH) assignment and the DL-TCI-DCI is a dedicated DCI for TCI state indication; receiving, based on the configuration information, the configured DCI; decoding the configured DCI to obtain a TCI state update; determining a receive beam based on the TCI state update; and applying the receive beam for a reception of a DL control or a DL data.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for inter user equipment (UE) coordination signaling. A method of operating a UE includes determining a first set of first sidelink (SL) resources based on SL sensing and resource exclusion; selecting a first one or more SL resources within the first determined set for reservation, transmitting information about the first one or more SL resources, and receiving inter UE co-ordination information indicating whether a SL resource in the first one or more SL resources has a conflict. The method further includes transmitting on one of the first one or more SL resources, when the one SL resource does not have a conflict; and determining a second set of SL resources based on SL sensing and resource exclusion, and selecting a second one or more SL resources within the second set for transmission and reservation, when all of the first one or more SL resources have a conflict.

A method of operating a user equipment (UE) includes receiving configuration information for a first set of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for joint TCI states or downlink (DL) TCI states and for a second set of TCI states for uplink (UL) TCI states if configured to operate with separate beam indication; receiving M TCI state code points; and if M>1, receiving downlink control information (DCI) that indicates at least one TCI state code point from the M TCI state code points. The method further includes determining a TCI state to apply to at least one of DL channels and UL channels; updating one or more spatial filters based on the determined TCI state; and at least one of receiving and transmitting the DL channels and the UL channels, respectively, based on the updated spatial filters.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for downlink control information (DCI) based dynamic beam indication in a wireless communication system. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, in a first DCI, a set of TCI states including two TCI states; receiving a higher layer radio resource control (RRC) signaling including a parameter indicating whether or not a TCI state selection indicator is present in a second DCI that schedules a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH); and receiving the second DCI. The method further includes determining, based on the parameter, whether the TCI state selection indicator is present in the second DCI; identifying, based on a presence or absence of the TCI state selection indicator, at least one TCI state from the set of TCI states to be used in reception of the PDSCH; and receiving, based on the identified at least one TCI state, the PDSCH.
