    Abstract: A color conversion substrate for displaying a first color, a second color, and a third color may include a base substrate, a first light-blocker, a second light-blocker, a pattern layer, a first color converter, and a second color converter. The first light-blocker contacts a surface of the base substrate and may block first light of the third color. The second light-blocker contacts the surface of the base substrate and may block second light of the third color. The pattern layer is disposed on the first light-blocker and the second light-blocker and includes an optical pattern that includes protrusions. The first color converter overlaps the first light-blocker and may convert a first portion of incident light into light of the first color. The second color converter overlaps the second light-blocker and may convert a second portion of the incident light into light of the second color.

    Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the present inventive concept provides a display device including: a light unit configured to emit blue light; a color conversion panel disposed on the light unit; and a display panel disposed between the light unit and the color conversion panel to include a transistor. The color conversion panel includes: a substrate; a color conversion layer disposed between the substrate and the display panel to include a semiconductor nanocrystal; a transmission layer disposed between the substrate and the display panel; and a polarization layer disposed between the color conversion layer and the display panel and between the transmission layer and the display panel, and the display panel includes a blue light blocking film which overlaps the transistor, while the blue light blocking film includes a red color filter.

    Abstract: A curved liquid crystal display includes a first panel having a pixel electrode including crossed stem parts, a plurality of fine branch parts extending from the crossed stem parts, and fine slits positioned between fine branch parts adjacent to each other, a second panel having a common electrode, and a liquid crystal layer between the first panel and the second panel. Misalignment between the first panel and the second lower panel is determined and a pitch, which is a sum of a width of the fine branch part and a width of the fine slit, gradually increases from a region having a small misalignment toward a region having a large misalignment.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a display panel including: a lower display substrate on which a plurality of pixel electrodes are disposed in a matrix and data lines extend in a column direction between adjacent pixel electrodes; an upper display substrate on which a common electrode is disposed; and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the lower display substrate and the upper display substrate and including liquid crystal molecules. The display panel includes a plurality of unit pixels, each unit pixel including pixels having different colors, and each pixel including one of the pixel electrodes. A gap between neighboring unit pixels is larger than a gap between neighboring pixel electrodes within each unit pixel, and a data line positioned between the neighboring unit pixels has a portion having a width larger than that of a data line positioned between the neighboring pixel electrodes within each unit pixel.
