    Abstract: An electronic device includes: a sensor layer having an active area and a peripheral area; a driving chip electrically connected to the sensor layer, wherein the sensor layer comprises a plurality of sensing units on the active area and a plurality of lines on the peripheral area and respectively electrically connected to the plurality of sensing units, each of the plurality of sensing units comprises a plurality of sub sensing units, the plurality of sub sensing units comprise a first sub sensing unit and a second sub sensing unit, the plurality of lines comprise a first line electrically connected to the first sub sensing unit and a second line electrically connected to the second sub sensing unit, and the plurality of switches comprises a first switch connected between the first line and the second line and a second switch connected between the first line and the driving chip.

    Abstract: A pen detection unit and a display device including a pen detection panel. The pen detection panel includes a plurality of sensor parts, and each of the sensor parts includes a first loop antenna and at least one transistor connected to the first loop antenna. A pen driving circuit detects a position of a pen, based on a sensing signal received through the first loop antenna in a first mode, and transfers the sensing signal to an external electromagnetic induction device in a second mode different from the first mode.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel and a touch panel. The touch panel calculates coordinate information of an input position by an electrostatic capacitive method in a first mode and calculates the coordinate information of the input position by an electromagnetic induction method in a second mode. The touch panel includes scan line groups and source line groups, which are operated as touch electrodes or touch coils on the basis of the operating mode thereof. In addition, the touch panel includes touch electrodes and touch coils, which are individually operated on the basis of the operating mode thereof.
