Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive one or more sidelink communications on a sidelink between the UE and another UE. The UE may transmit one or more hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback communications, associated with the one or more sidelink communications, on the sidelink and in a HARQ feedback resource included in a multi-slot feedback reporting period. The HARQ feedback resource may include a set of negative acknowledgement (NACK) resources or the set of NACK resources and a set of acknowledgement (ACK) resources. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may establish a unicast connection over a sidelink communications with a second UE. To establish the unicast connection over the sidelink, the first UE may transmit a request message (e.g., a first message) to the second UE, and the second UE may transmit a response message (e.g., a second message) to the first UE accepting the request. The unicast connection over the sidelink may then be established between the first UE and the second UE, and user data may then be transmitted over the sidelink on the established unicast connection. Additionally, the first UE may transmit a connection complete message (e.g., a third message) to the second UE indicating that the unicast connection has been established. The request message, the response message, and the connection complete message may be radio resource control (RRC) messages.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to sidelink communications in a TDD system are provided. A first user equipment (UE) may receive from a base station (BS), a time-division-duplexing (TDD) configuration. The first UE may select a first TDD configuration from a set of configured TDD configurations based on the TDD configuration. Additionally, the first UE may transmit to a second UE, an indication of the first TDD configuration. The first and the second UEs may communicate a sidelink communication based on the first TDD configuration. Other features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring sidelink communications between user equipment's (UEs). Per one technique, during a discovery opportunity, a first UE and a second UE may identify a subset of beam pairs suitable for communication, and schedule a discontinuous transmission (DTX) occasion during the discovery opportunity. During the DTX occasion, the first UE and second UE may perform a beam refinement procedure to determine a beam pair (BP) over which to communicate, from the identified subset of beam pairs. The beam refinement procedure may include beam narrowing of at least one of the identified subset of beam pairs.

Abstract: Wireless communication systems and methods related to sidelink communications are provided. A first user equipment (UE) determines a discontinuous operation configuration that indicates an on-duration period for a sidelink communication and a cycle of discontinuous operation. The first UE communicates with at least one other UE during the on-duration period indicated by the discontinuous operation configuration. The first UE uses a base configuration and an on-duration parameter, an offset parameter, and a cycle parameter to determine a discontinuous operation configuration for the first UE.

Abstract: Techniques for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured with one or multiple transmission and reception points (TRPs). The UE may support sidelink communications, which may be referred to as vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications systems, vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications systems, and the like. The UE may provide improvements to resource determination for the sidelink communications by determining whether multiple peer UEs can be space-division multiplexed over time and frequency resources. To mitigate interference between the multiple peer UEs, the UE may transmit a power control request message to one or multiple peer UEs to adjust a transmit power level, and a receive a power control response message from the one or multiple peer UEs accepting or rejecting the transmit power level adjustment. As a result, the UE may experience efficient sidelink operations.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which two or more UEs of a wireless communications system may establish a sidelink connection. A first UE that is initiating sidelink communications may evaluate whether the sidelink connection can support a quality of service (QoS) for a data flow prior to admitting the data flow. The first UE may evaluate a link quality with one or more other UEs that are to use the data flow on the sidelink connection, evaluate system congestion of time/frequency resources that are available for the sidelink connection, or any combinations thereof, and admit the data flow based on the evaluation. A link quality of the sidelink connection may be determined based on a type of communication associated with the data flow, such as unicast communications with one other UE, multicast communications with multiple other UEs, or broadcast transmissions to multiple UEs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that may enable a user equipment (UE) to transmit sidelink data within an interference avoidance resource scheduling scheme. For example, a UE may determine to segment a data packet for transmission in a vehicle-to-everything (V2x) system (e.g., to ensure that each segment fits within one transmission time interval (TTI)). In some cases, a UE may identify a data packet for transmission, may determine that the size of the data packet exceeds a threshold size, may segment the data packet to ensure each segment fits within one TTI, and may transmit the data packet segments (e.g., to additional UEs), where said transmissions may be discontinuous. In some examples, a UE may determine to segment the data packet and then encode the data packet. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may determine to encode the data packet and then segment the data packet.
