    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitting device may generate a waveform having an original amplitude. The transmitting device may reduce a peak portion of the original amplitude that is above a mirror level according to a reduction function that is based at least in part on a difference function associated with a difference between the mirror level and the peak portion, to obtain a reduced peak amplitude for the waveform. The transmitting device may transmit the waveform with the reduced peak amplitude. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication and to product codes for wireless communications. Some aspects more specifically relate to enabling a Bose-Chaudhuri-Hocquenghem (BCH) product code for wireless communications. In some aspects, a transmitter and/or a receiver may flexibly select parameters for a BCH product code based on or otherwise associated with communication parameters of a wireless communication to be encoded, such as the modulation and coding scheme (MCS) and/or allocation size, among other examples. For example, the transmitter and/or the receiver may select parameters for the BCH product code to ensure that the BCH product code is designed to handle a quantity of channel bits associated with a current configuration of a channel (for example, of an uplink data channel and/or a downlink data channel) and to increase a correction capability associated with the BCH product code for the current configuration of the channel.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. Various aspects relate generally to labeling of modulation constellations. Some aspects more specifically relate to signaling to support selection of labeling configurations of modulation constellations. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) transmits capability information indicating one or more capabilities relating to selection of a labeling configuration that indicates labels for symbols of a modulation constellation. A network node may transmit an indication of a labeling configuration in accordance with the capability information. The labeling configuration, in some examples, may include a Gray labeling configuration that is configured to improve polar coding performance.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus for compression in wireless communication systems. The apparatus compresses a signal based on an encoder scheme, wherein an encoded signal comprises at least a first CRC associated with a prediction index and a second CRC associated with a prediction information component. The apparatus transmits, to a second wireless device, the encoded signal comprising at least the first CRC associated with the prediction index and the second CRC associated with the prediction information component. The apparatus may be configured to compress the signal such that the signal comprises one or more parity bits, where the one or more parity bits correspond to a difference between a frame of the signal and at least one subsequent frame of the signal.
