Abstract: Aspects relate to a relay device detecting a change in a protocol data unit (PDU) session configuration that the relay device has established for a user equipment (UE) that accesses a network via the relay device. Upon detecting this change, the relay device signals an indication of the change to the UE. Aspects also relate to UE that is connected to a relay device and that reselects an interworking function (e.g., a non-3rd Generation Partnership Project interworking function (N3IWF)). In some examples, the UE receives an indication from the relay device that a serving relay PDU session configuration has changed and, in response, the UE selects a new interworking function.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A cellular user equipment (C-UE) and vehicle UE (V-UE) may perform a discovery process. The C-UE and the V-UE may exchange identification and location information. One of the UEs may communicate the identification information of one or both of the UEs to a base station or a sidelink wireless device. The base station and the sidelink wireless device may be co-located. Based on the identification information of the C-UE and the V-UE, the base station may determine that the C-UE and the V-UE are co-located, and the base station may perform downlink transmissions based on the determined co-location.

The example method may further include switching from the first BWP to the second BWP upon receiving the SL BWP switching decision message. The example method may further include transmitting, to the second UE, an SL BWP switching confirmation message confirming the switch from the first BWP to the second BWP. The example method may further include reverting back to the first BWP.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may receive, from at least one of a base station or a configuring UE, a configuration of a plurality of sidelink power control parameter sets, a media access control (MAC) control element (CE) (MAC-CE) activating transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states and indicating sidelink power control parameter sets, and control information indicating a TCI state and a sidelink power control parameter set. The UE may transmit the sidelink communication in a direction based on the TCI state and with a transmission power indicated in the control information. The MAC-CE may include a joint MAC-CE or separate MAC-CEs to update or configuration of the sidelink TCI and the power control parameters.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may receive a broadcast remote identification (BRID) message from a unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), where the BRID message may include an identity of the UAV. The wireless device may identify UAV information associated with the UAV based on the UAV ID. In some cases, the wireless device may be configured with information that enables the identification of the UAV information. In other cases, the wireless device may request the UAV information from a network entity, such as a UAV flight management system (UFMS), which provides the requested UAV information. In some examples, the UFMS may request the UAV information from an unmanned aerial system (UAS) service supplier (USS) based on the BRID information. Upon identifying the UAV information, the wireless device may broadcast the UAV information to manned aerial vehicles, thereby indicating a presence of the UAV.

A first user equipment (UE) (e.g., a relay UE) may establish a relay connection for routing communications between a network entity (e.g., a base station) and a second UE (e.g., a remote UE). The relay connection may include a sidelink connection and an access link connection. The remote UE may transmit a request to the network entity via the relay UE. The request may include a relay service code associated with the sidelink connection, as well as a request for quality of service (QoS) support for the relay connection. Based on the request, the network entity may determine a QoS configuration for the relay connection. The network entity may indicate the QoS configuration to the UEs via the relay connection. The UEs may adjust parameters of the relay connection to meet the specifications of the QoS configuration.

Abstract: The positioning capabilities of a User Equipment (UE) are stored in a core network to reduce positioning latency when the UE indicates that its positioning capabilities are stable and/or are long term valid. The UE may provide its positioning capabilities to a location server during a location session along with an indication of whether the positioning capabilities are stable. The location server may enable storage of the positioning capabilities for the UE in the core network, e.g., in the location server or another entity in the core network such as Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF), if there is an indication that the positioning capabilities are stable. The AMF may include a UE identifier in location requests with which the location server may retrieve the UE positioning capabilities if stored at the location server or may include the UE positioning capabilities if stored at the AMF.
