Abstract: A method and a user equipment for receiving a downlink signal, and a method and a base station for transmitting a downlink signal in a wireless communication system are discussed. The method of receiving a downlink signal according to an embodiment includes receiving downlink scheduling information. The downlink scheduling information includes a frequency block indicator and resource allocation information for one or more first transport blocks (TBs). The method further includes receiving the downlink signal including the one or more first TBs via a first frequency block among multiple frequency blocks. The first frequency block is indicated by the frequency block indicator among the multiple frequency blocks. Each of the multiple frequency blocks does not overlap with other multiple frequency blocks and a respective hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process is provided per each of the one or more first TBs.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method for transmitting an uplink signal includes transmitting the uplink signal including a block of data symbols. The block of data symbols are mapped to at least two sets of subcarrier blocks. Each data symbol of the block of data symbols is mapped to one of subcarriers of the at least two sets of subcarrier blocks. The at least two sets of subcarrier blocks are not contiguous in frequency. The block of data symbols are mapped in sequence starting with a first data symbol to the at least two sets of subcarrier blocks and in increasing order of subcarrier index.

Abstract: A method for transmitting channel status information in a wireless communication system. A user equipment (UE) transmits first channel information indicating a set of precoding matrices to a base station (BS) periodically, and transmits second channel information indicating one precoding matrix included in the set of precoding matrices to the BS periodically. The second channel information transmitted in a specific subframe is determined based on first channel information that has most recently been transmitted before the specific subframe. Additionally, the UE calculates a channel quality indicator (CQI) transmitted in the specific subframe based on one precoding matrix specified by the first channel information that has most recently been transmitted before the specific subframe and by the second channel information determined based on the first channel information that has most recently been transmitted before the specific subframe.

Abstract: A method for transmitting uplink control information by a communication apparatus configured with a plurality of cells including a Primary Cell (PCell) and a Secondary Cell (SCell) in a wireless communication system. Only one Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) is received on the PCell among the plurality of cells in a first subframe. Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request Acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information about the PDSCH is transmitted through a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) in a second subframe configured for Scheduling Request (SR) transmission. For a positive SR in the second subframe, the HARQ-ACK information is transmitted using a SR PUCCH resource. For a negative SR in the second subframe, the HARQ-ACK information is transmitted using a HARQ-ACK PUCCH resource different from the SR PUCCH resource.

Abstract: A method, performed by a user equipment (UE), is provided for uplink transmission. The UE determines transmission power of a sounding reference signal (SRS) toward a first cell belonging to a first timing advance group (TAG) and a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) toward a second cell belonging to a second TAG and whether to transmit both the PUSCH and the SRS, or drop the SRS. The UE transmits only the PUSCH but drops the SRS when the UE determines that the plurality of TAGs including the first and second TAGs are configured, that at least one symbol of a first subframe which is used to transmit the SRS toward the second cell of the second TAG is overlapped with a second subframe on which the PUSCH is transmitted toward the first cell of the first TAG and that a total uplink transmission power exceeds a maximum value.

Abstract: A method of configuring a positive acknowledgement (ACK) or negative acknowledgement (NACK) in a wireless communication system based on time division duplex (TDD) in which M, M=4, downlink subframes are associated with an uplink subframe. The method is performed by a user equipment receiving a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) and a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The user equipment receives at least one downlink transport block in the M downlink subframes from a first serving cell. The user equipment determines ACK/NACK states {HARQ-ACK(1), HARQ-ACK(2), HARQ-ACK(3), HARQ-ACK(4)} for the first serving cell. The use equipment determines an ACK/NACK response based on the ACK/NACK states.

Abstract: A method for transmitting an uplink signal at a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system includes receiving, from a Base Station (BS), an uplink scheduling grant for multi-antenna transmission; transmitting the uplink signal precoded using precoding information included in the received uplink scheduling grant to the BS; and retransmitting the uplink signal to the BS according to Acknowledgment/Negative Acknowledgment (ACK/NACK) corresponding to the transmitted uplink signal. The retransmitted uplink signal is precoded using precoding information included in a most recent uplink scheduling grant or a predetermined precoding matrix if an uplink scheduling grant for the retransmission is not received from the BS.
