Abstract:
In an internal combustion engine (1), air is taken into a cylinder (5) from an intake passage (30) through an intake valve (15). The amount of air taken into the cylinder (5) is controlled to a target intake air amount by having an engine controller (31) operate an intake throttle (23) in accordance with an accelerator opening (APO), taking into account a predetermined response delay (T2). The engine controller (31) calculates a predicted value (Qc1) of the intake air amount on the basis of the accelerator opening (APO), and controls a fuel injector (21) to inject fuel in a target fuel injection amount (Ti) which corresponds to this predicted value (Qc1) at a predetermined timing. In so doing, an improvement is achieved in the degree of precision with which air-fuel ratio control is performed when the internal combustion engine (1) accelerates or decelerates.
Abstract:
Fuel properties estimating apparatus for an internal combustion engine includes a controller to determine an estimated component concentration of a component such as alcohol in a fuel. The controller calculates a new value of the estimated component concentration in accordance with a component concentration variation and a stored previous value of the estimated component concentration. From an air-fuel ratio correction quantity calculated from an actual air fuel ratio, for correcting a fuel injection quantity, the controller calculates the component concentration variation by using a conversion function determined by the previous value of the component concentration.

At least one of the random access memories has at least one defective address. The memory module further has a storage device connected through a second set of interconnections to the connective terminals for storing an information of the at least one defective address so as to allow a processing unit to fetch the information of the at least one defective address from the storage device so that the processing unit is operated to inhibit an access to the at least one defective address.
Abstract:
The semiconductor memory device as static RAM disclosed comprises a memory cell array, a plurality of load circuits, and a plurality of bit line potential compensation circuits. Each of the bit line potential compensation circuits is a pseudo memory cell and is provided between each of the bit line load circuits and the memory cell array for holding the power supply potential supplied. The pseudo memory cell has an element arrangement equivalent to that of each of the memory cells. The pseudo memory cell has a pair of thin film transistors each having a source electrode commonly held at the power supply potential and a drain electrode connected to the gate electrode of the other, the drain electrode of one of the thin film transistors being connected through a third transfer transistor to the first bit line, the drain of the other thin film transistor being connected through a fourth transfer transistor to the second bit line, the gate electrodes of the third and fourth transfer transistors being held at the power supply potential. With this arrangement, it is possible to make a substantial reduction in the element area of the structure.
Abstract:
A semiconductor memory device having a plurality of memory cells disposed in the form of a matrix with column switch circuits and an address transition detecting circuit. The column switch circuits are each provided for each of said bit line pairs with their one end connected to a corresponding bit line pair and their other end connected to a data line pair for changing the potential difference between the lines of the data line pair according to the potential difference between the lines of the corresponding bit line pair. Each switch circuit is selectively activated according to a column address decoder signal and an output pulse signal of the address transition detecting circuit.
Abstract:
A random access memory includes a data signal line, a data-synchronization signal line for a data synchronization signal which provides a synchronization signal when data is transmitted to the data signal line, and a setting module. The setting module determines whether the data signal line is set to be a data signal line for common input/output use, a data signal line for output-only use, or a data signal line for input-only use, and further determines whether the data-synchronization signal line is set to be a data-synchronization signal line for common input/output use, a data-synchronization signal line for output-only use, or a data-synchronization signal line for input-only use.

Abstract:
An acquiring unit acquires a first search criterion from outside. A first searching unit extracts a first search result that satisfies the first search criterion from a storing unit that stores information to be searched. A first output unit outputs the first search result to a first output device. A changing unit changes the first search criterion to a second search criterion based on a predetermined condition. A second searching unit extracts a second search result that satisfies the second search criterion from the storing unit. A second output unit outputs the second search result to a second output device that is different from the first output device.
