摘要: Methods, data processing systems and computer program products for assessing and assigning privacy levels to data elements are provided. A method of assigning privacy levels to data elements (e.g., text files, web page files, image files, audio files, video files, and portions thereof) includes assigning a predetermined privacy level to a data element; storing the data element with the assigned privacy level; determining if the assigned privacy level for data element is proper; and assigning a different privacy level to the data element in response to determining that a currently assigned privacy level for the data element is not proper. A predetermined privacy level may be assigned to a data element under various conditions, such as when the data element arrives at a device, when the data element is created by a device, and/or when the data element is modified by a device.

摘要: A transparent commodity trading network facilitates transactions among parties. A plurality of mobile communications devices are each configured to broadcast product/service needs and/or product/service offerings of a party associated with the respective mobile communications device. Each mobile communications device is configured to receive product/service needs and/or product/service offerings broadcast by other mobile communications devices when respective mobile communications devices pass within a predetermined distance of each other. Each mobile communications device is configured to identify when a product/service need or product/service offering broadcast by another mobile communications device matches a corresponding product/service offering or broadcast product/service need broadcast by the respective mobile communications device. A transaction service that is accessible by each mobile communications device is configured to allow two parties that have a matching broadcast product/service need and offering to identify and communicate with each other.

摘要: Media signals such as audio and/or video signals are certified as being authentic. A private key and a corresponding public key are provided. For a current media segment of the media signal, a signature is created using the private key to sign data based on media content of the current media segment combined with a signature from a media segment present at another point within the media signal where the signature from the media segment present at another point within the media signal is created by signing with the private key data based on media content of the media segment present at the other point within the media signal. The signature is included in metadata of the current media segment of the media signal and the public key is included in a second metadata of the media signal.

摘要: A method, apparatus, and computer program product for implementing situational control processes is provided. The method includes transmitting a signal to a target device and determining whether a response signal has been received from the target device. The response signal indicates one of a presence status of the target device and an event condition. The method also includes performing a first action if no response signal is received. The first action includes generating an alert and/or determining a presence of an alternative target device.

摘要: Dedicated projectors and devices with projection abilities such as digital cameras or camcorders have projections that are corrected to compensate for irregularities in the surfaces receiving the projection. The image data being projected is compensated to account for the irregularities by observing the irregularities with a camera to produce image data and creating the compensation based on that image data. Irregularities of the projection receiving location including angular relationships to the projector causing keystoning, noisy surfaces with reflectivity or absorption, color patterns, non-planar regions, intervening objects, and the like may be accounted for during the compensation. The projection of the image itself may be utilized to capture the result of projecting onto the irregularities. Projection of target grids, such as using infrared, may be used to capture the result of projecting onto the irregularities. The captured image may be processed to produce a compensated image to be projected.

摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are provided for acquiring and processing incident data among multiple networked computing apparatuses. A method involves provisioning an interface associated with a mode of service of a computing apparatus, receiving incident data via the interface, and analyzing the data received according to rules associated with the mode of service. The interface includes a form for documenting the incident data where the form is compatible with one or more fields capable of being concurrently shared among networked computing apparatuses. The interface may be modified in response to receiving the data where a view of the incident data is based on the mode of service. The method further involves recording the data received and transmitting the data received to one or more other networked computing apparatuses over a wireless network based on a mode of service activated on each of the networked computing apparatuses.

摘要: A method, apparatus, and computer program product for implementing remote control processes is provided. The method includes receiving a request to execute an operation on a target device via selection of a function key on a remote control device. The function key is associated with the operation and the target device that performs the operation for remotely controlling operation of the target device via a signal transmitted from the remote control device to the target device when the function key is selected. The method also includes approving the request to execute the operation when authorization has been secured, and transmitting the signal from the remote control device to the target device in response to the approval.
