    Abstract: A camera assembly for motor vehicles comprises a housing with at least one opening for receiving a connector-adapter, an image sensor connected to an electronics carrier provided within the housing, and an insulating member within the housing defining at least a first and second chamber. The electronics carrier is intersected by the insulating member preventing matter from passing from the first chamber to the second chamber. The assembling method comprises deposition of insulating material within the housing to form an insulating member and fitting of the electronics carrier within the housing such that the electronics carrier is intersected by the insulating member.

    Abstract: An optical device includes a housing, a first optical subassembly, and a second optical subassembly. The housing includes first and second surfaces having respective first and second openings. The first optical subassembly includes a first lens and a first image sensor received in the first opening. The second optical subassembly is arranged at an angle with respect to a first optical axis, and includes a second lens and a second image sensor received in the second opening. The first and/or second opening is larger than the corresponding first or second image sensor such that a gap exists therebetween for the optical subassembly to be positioned with the corresponding optical axis at a given orientation before the optical subassemblies are attached to the housing.

    Abstract: Video displayers are provided for detecting image freezing in a video displayer with a multi-layer panel including a front layer and a pixel layer emitting pixel light in emitting direction towards the front layer. Front layer and pixel layer are configured to let light through. Video displayers further include a light reflector arranged in the multi-layer panel between pixel layer and front layer to reflect the pixel light from pixel layer in reflection direction towards pixel layer; a light sensor arranged to receive the reflected pixel light at receiving location and sense light variations in received reflected pixel light; and a control unit to receive light variations sensed by light sensor and to detect image freezing depending on received sensed light variations. Methods and computer programs implementing such methods are also provided which are performable by proposed video displayers.
