    Abstract: A communication method of an active radio frequency identification (RFID) tag attached to a product or a pallet is provided. The method includes: transmitting movement completion information to a reader by using a communication channel, which consumes power of a battery, at a time when movement of the product or the pallet which is moving is not sensed, the movement completion information indicating movement completion of the moving product or pallet; receiving a request message, requesting position information of the tag corresponding to the movement completion information, from the reader by using the communication channel; activating a positioning channel, which consumes relatively more power of the battery that the communication channel, to transmit positioning information to the reader by using the activated positioning channel in response to the request message received through the communication channel; and when the transmission of the positioning information is completed, deactivating the positioning channel.

    Abstract: Provided are a power generation method and system of a power generator that can allow an output power of the power generator to be constant and cope with a case in which the velocity of a power generation source changes very quickly at a low lost. The power generation method includes determining a reference total power intended to be generated by a plurality of power generators, calculating a current command value through the reference total power and an instantaneous velocity sensed by each of the plurality of power generators, and regulating an output current of the power generator using the calculated current command value such that a total power output by the plurality of power generators is approximate to the reference total power.

    Abstract: An UPnP communication system and method for supporting an active standby mode is provided. A media system according to exemplary embodiments includes: a player configured to play back media in an active mode; and a processor configured to provide device information of the player to a controller in a standby mode, and activate the player when the controller requests playback of media. Accordingly, the fewest renderers excluding media playback are operated, so that media can be played back according to a request from the controller even when a media renderer enters a low-power mode.

    Abstract: Provided are an active Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) tag applied to a logistics tracking system and a communication method thereof. The communication method includes transmitting movement completion information to a reader by using a communication channel, which less consumes power of a battery, at a time when movement of a product or a pallet which is moving is not sensed, receiving a request message, requesting position information of the tag corresponding to the movement completion information, from the reader by using the communication channel, activating a positioning channel, which relatively more consumes the power of the battery, to transmit positioning information to the reader by using the activated positioning channel in response to the request message received through the communication channel, and when the transmission of the positioning information is completed, deactivating the positioning channel. The movement completion information indicates movement completion of the moving product or pallet.
