    Abstract: A seal assembly for high pressure equipment is disclosed and can include a back-up ring having a head and an extension extending from the head. The extension can include an interior surface that extends axially away from and radially inwardly from the head. The seal assembly can also include a spring energized seal having a jacket having a sealing portion with an annular spring disposed within the sealing portion of the jacket. At least a portion of the jacket fits around the extension of the back-up ring and wherein the back-up ring has a minimum inner diameter, IDBUR, the spring energized seal has a minimum inner diameter, IDSES, and IDSES is less than IDBUR.

    Abstract: Systems and methods include providing a seal for an assembly. The seal includes a jacket having a base, an inner sealing leg, and an outer sealing leg, and further includes a spring disposed within the jacket between and in contact with the inner sealing leg and the outer sealing leg. The spring includes an annular support ring disposed within the spring. The support ring biases an outer diameter (OD) of the spring towards the outer sealing leg of the jacket to maintain contact pressure between the inner sealing leg of the jacket and the shaft of the assembly. The support ring controls thermal shrinkage of the spring and the outer sealing leg to maintain a seal between a housing and a shaft of the assembly when the assembly is operated at cryogenic temperatures.

    Abstract: Systems and methods include providing an annular bimetallic seal for an assembly. The bimetallic seal includes a first sealing component formed from a first material, a second sealing component formed from a second material that is different than the first material, and a joint formed between the first sealing component and the second sealing component. The bimetallic seal is configured to form a radial seal between a first assembly component and a second assembly component formed from dissimilar metallic materials. The coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of the first material and the second material are configured maintain the radial seal at extreme operating temperatures between the dissimilar metallic materials of the components of the assembly.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a low friction roller liner for a printer assembly that may include a core layer, a first outer layer overlying a first surface of the core layer, a second outer layer overlying the first outer layer, a first inner layer overlying a second surface of the core layer that is opposite of the first surface of the core layer, and a second inner layer overlying the first inner layer. The first outer layer and the first inner layer may include a fluoropolymer material and may have a melt flow rate of at least about 2 g/10 min at 372° C. The second outer layer and the second inner layer may include a fluoropolymer material distinct from the fluoropolymer material of the first outer layer and may have a surface coefficient of friction of not greater than about 0.2.

The conductive layer includes Krypton and a conductive material. The conductive layer has an average thickness of no greater than about 150 nanometers. The conductive layer has a normalized thickness (t/λ) of no greater than about 3.0. Further, the composite has a sheet resistance of no greater than about 97.077t−1.071 ohm/sq, where t represents the thickness of the conductive layer in nanometers.
