Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, related to long term sensing based inter-operator coexistence techniques for unlicensed high bands providing a measurement framework and candidate measurements, along with channel selection, per-beam channel deselection, and dynamic frequency selection. In one aspect, a network entity may determine that a non-coordinating node satisfies a communication presence threshold based on the at least one long term sensing measurement, and transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), an indication of a remedial action, or adjusting the communication channel based on the determination. In another aspect, a UE may obtain at least one long term sensing measurement, and transmit a long term sensing report including the at least one long term sensing measurement.

Abstract: An access node may monitor for uplink and downlink resource release indications signaled by a parent access node and a child access node prior to scheduling a released resource. In some cases (e.g., when the child node is capable of half-duplex communications), the parent access node may determine to release a resource, and the child access node may determine to release a hard resource (e.g., a child node controlled resource). Receiving uplink and downlink resource release indications may enable the access node to schedule communication with the child node via a soft resource (e.g., a parent node controlled resource). Other aspects of the described techniques are directed to feedback support for a slot format indicator (SFI). The feedback from the access node may accept or reject the SFI based on an impact the SFI has on scheduling via a child link established with a child node of the access node.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An access point (AP) may configure power parameters for sidelink communications between user equipments (UEs). The power parameters may be configured based on the UEs operating within an AP service area. In some examples, an AP may transmit one or more signals to the first UE, and the first UE may determine the power parameters based on receiving the signals. Additionally or alternatively, the first UE may be configured to transmit one or more reference signals to the AP, and the AP may configure the power parameters based on receiving the reference signals. The first AP may indicate the power parameters in a sidelink configuration transmitted to the first UE. The first UE may communicate with the second UE on a sidelink channel in accordance with the sidelink configuration, which may improve efficiency and reliability of the sidelink communications.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications and waveform type switching are described. If a user equipment (UE) receives an indication to switch waveform type after transmitting a first portion of a set of uplink messages, the UE may use a different waveform type to transmit a remaining portion of the set of uplink messages. If one or more conditions are satisfied at the UE, then the UE may transmit, to a network entity, a request to change the waveform type used for uplink transmissions by the UE. The UE may determine a waveform type to use for an uplink transmission as part of a random access procedure based on information included in a downlink transmission that is received as part of the random access procedure.
