Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station (BS) may identify a collision between a data transmission and a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) transmission in a full-duplex time-frequency resource. The BS may transmit, to a wireless communication device, an indication of a time-frequency mapping for a zero-power DMRS (ZP-DMRS) in the full-duplex time-frequency resource. The time-frequency mapping for the ZP-DMRS, and a time-frequency mapping in the full-duplex time-frequency resource for the DMRS transmission, may be a same time-frequency mapping. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device, otherwise known as a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of an uplink transmission timing pattern configuration for transmitting uplink transmissions on a first carrier. The UE may identify to use both the first carrier and a second carrier during a single uplink transmission mode, where the UE may transition between sending the uplink transmissions on the first and second carriers. The UE may also determine, based on the uplink transmission timing pattern configuration, a timing of uplink carrier switching periods for retuning between transmissions on the first carrier and on the second carrier. As a result, the UE may transmit, during the single uplink transmission mode, on both the first carrier and the second carrier in accordance with the uplink transmission timing pattern configuration for the first carrier and the uplink carrier switching periods.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described to support replacing values of one or more information bit vectors with one or more corresponding sets of parity bits. A first wireless device may replace an information bit vector with a parity bit vector, using a set of information bits of the information bit vector and based on a parity check matrix, which may result in generating the set of information bits at an information bit vector corresponding to a parity bit column of the parity check matrix, during encoding. The first wireless device may perform a transmission to a second wireless device, which may receive the transmission, decode the set of information bits to the information bit vector corresponding to the parity bit column. The second wireless device may replace other bit estimates of a vector corresponding to an information bit column with the set of information bits.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine to use one or more channel state information (CSI) omission configurations for omitting portions of a CSI report. For example, a UE may receive a trigger to report CSI, and the UE may identify that a payload of the CSI report exceeds a capacity of resources for transmitting the report. As such, the UE may determine to use one or more CSI omission configurations, where each CSI omission configuration may correspond to dropping different portions of the CSI report. The selection of the CSI omission configuration to use may be based on a set of parameters associated with CSI reporting. In some cases, the UE selects the CSI omission configuration based on an explicit indication from the base station. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may implicitly determine the CSI omission configuration based on the parameters.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In one aspect, the described techniques provide for identifying interference signals on multiple layers or resources and determining whether the interference signals transmitted on a particular layer or resource were precoded using linear precoding (LP) or NLP. In this aspect, a receiving device may equalize signals received from a transmitting device (e. g., filter out interference signals) based on determining whether the interference signals were precoded using a first type of precoding (e. g., linear precoding (LP)) or a second type of precoding (e. g., NLP). In another aspect, the described techniques provide for performing interference measurements on signals precoded using NLP based on categorizing interference resources as being precoded using LP or NLP. In this aspect, a receiving device may perform and report measurements differently for interference signals precoded using LP and interference signals precoded using NLP.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for enabling a network equipment to reduce interference for downlink (DL) transmissions to a first device by determining a transmit precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) for uplink (UL) transmissions transmitted by a second device based on feedback from the first device. The first device may determine a subset of possible TPMIs that the second device may use for UL transmissions for full-duplex communications. The first device may indicate the subset to the network equipment. Based on the subset indicated by the first device, the network equipment may determine a pairing of the first device and the second device for full-duplex communications. Additionally, the network equipment may determine a TPMI for the second device to use in UL transmissions and indicate the TPMI to the second device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for scrambling for probabilistic constellation schemes (PCSs) in wireless communications are described. In some examples, a first wireless device may scramble a set of amplitude information bits associated with a transport block for transmission to a second wireless device. In such examples, the first wireless device may perform a distribution matching procedure on the scrambled set of amplitude information bits. The first wireless device may encode the set of distributed amplitude bits and, in some cases, may perform a modulation procedure on the encoded set of distributed amplitude bits in accordance with a PCS scheme to obtain a codeword associated with the transport block. In some examples, the first wireless device may transmit the codeword to the second wireless device.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for adaptive subcarrier spacing in wireless communication networks are described. For example, the described aspects include transmitting, from the UE to a network entity, a first PRACH transmission with a first subcarrier spacing; determining, by the UE, that the first PRACH transmission to the network entity is not successful; and transmitting, from the UE, a second PRACH transmission with a second subcarrier spacing in response to determining that the first PRACH transmission is not successful, wherein the first subcarrier spacing is different from the second subcarrier spacing.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to the generation of channel state reports and precoding a wireless transmission based on frequency division duplex (FDD) reciprocity. A base station (B S) uses at least two precoders to transmit signals to A user equipment (UE). The UE generates a set of channel state reports, in which the UE transmits a first set of channel coefficients using a first timing, a set of port attributes using a second timing, and a second set of channel coefficients using a third timing. The first set of channel coefficients correspond to a first precoded portion of the wireless transmission, and the set of port attributes and the second set of channel coefficients correspond to a second portion of the wireless transmission. The BS modifies at least one of the precoders based on the channel state reports. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.
