    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless devices may support a prediction capability for prediction-based control information. A first device may receive, from a second device, first control signaling that activates the predication capability of the first device to generate a set of one or more control parameters for communications. The second device may transmit second control signaling to the first device to indicate initial values of the control parameters and a channel condition model for the first device. The first device and the second device may generate a set of multiple values associated with the control parameters over a time period based on the initial values of the control parameters and the channel condition model. The first device and the second device may communicate during at least the time period according to the set of generated values associated with the control parameters.

    Abstract: A (repeater) node may identify a first indication of a waveform switch associated with a first link between a base station and the node or a second link between the node and a UE. A waveform switch associated with the first link may be triggered by the base station or the node. A waveform switch associated with the second link may be triggered by the node or the UE. The waveform switch may correspond to a first switch from an OFDM waveform to an SC waveform or a second switch from the SC waveform to the OFDM waveform. The base station may transmit, to the node, an indication of a post-waveform switch resource mapping between a first waveform associated with the first link and a second waveform associated with the second link. The node may execute the waveform switch associated with the first link or the second link.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for demodulation reference signal (DMRS) precoding in high-Doppler scenarios. In some aspects, communicating devices may support different precodings for different portions of a signal, such as for a DMRS portion and an information portion. For example, a device may receive a signal including an orthogonal time-frequency space (OTFS) precoded first waveform portion carrying DMRS symbols and an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) precoded second waveform portion carrying information symbols. The device may transform the OTFS precoded DMRS symbols from a time-frequency domain to a delay-Doppler domain, may use the DMRS symbols to estimate a delay-Doppler channel, and may use the delay-Doppler channel estimate to measure an inter-carrier interference (ICI). The receiving device may use the ICI measurement to receive the information symbols carried by the OFDM precoded second waveform portion.
