摘要: A trans-inductor voltage regulator with fault detection has a plurality of transformers. Each transformer of the plurality of the transformers has a primary winding coupled to a switching circuit, and a secondary winding. Each secondary winding of each transformer of the plurality of transformers are coupled in series with a compensation inductor. The trans-inductor further has a controller operable to detect a) a short condition in a secondary side of each transformer of the plurality of transformers, b) a short condition between a primary side and the secondary side of each transformer of the plurality of transformers; c) an open condition in the primary side of each transformer of the plurality of transformers; and d) an open condition in the secondary side of each transformer of the plurality of transformers.

摘要: A method determines an overload capacity of at least one high-voltage device. In which method, measurement values are continuously recorded by sensors located in or on the high-voltage device. The measurement values and/or values derived therefrom are transmitted via a near field communication connection from the sensors to a communication unit of the high-voltage device. The communication unit is connected to a data processing cloud. For high-voltage devices, a load forecast request is created for a predetermined time-period and is transmitted to a data processing cloud. For each high-voltage device, a state parameter is determined in part based on the measurement values. The load forecast request and each state parameter are transmitted at a request time to a load forecasting model; and the load forecasting model determines the maximum load in the predetermined time period.

摘要: The present disclosure pertains to systems and methods for monitoring a capacitance-coupled voltage transformer (CCVT) in electrical communication with the electric power delivery system, the CCVT comprising a stack of capacitors and an electrical contact to a first ground connection. A first current transformer is disposed between the stack of capacitors and the first ground connection. The current transformer provides an electrical signal corresponding to a current associated with the CCVT. A second transformer is disposed to provide a second electrical signal related to the CCVT. The second signal may be a voltage signal or a current signal. An intelligent electronic device (IED) in electrical communication with the current measurement devices monitors a health factor comprising a ratio of magnitudes or a difference between phases from the transformers at a single frequency. The health factor is compared against an acceptable range and an alarm is generated when the range is exceeded.

There are provided a first circuit that includes a power source and a ground, a second circuit that is magnetically coupled to the first circuit via a transformer and includes a load connected to the ground, a controller that is connected to the ground, a third circuit that is connected to the second circuit and the ground, a first resistor that is provided between a connection point at a high potential end of the second circuit and the ground, and a second resistor that is provided between a connection point at a low potential end of the second circuit and the ground, and has a resistance value different from a resistance value of the first resistor.

The method includes the steps of measuring a first and second moisture activity of oil in a transformer, and a first and second temperature of the transformer. The method further includes calculating the ratio of the gradients of the moisture equilibrium curves associated with the moisture activity and the temperature. The calculated ratio can then be used to characterise the polymerisation of the insulation and age of the transformer.

摘要: A monitoring system includes an array of optical sensors disposed within a transformer tank. Each optical sensor is configured to have an optical output that changes in response to a temperature within the transformer tank. An analyzer is coupled to the array of optical sensors. The analyzer is configured to determine a sensed temperature distribution based on the sensed temperature. The sensed temperature distribution is compared to an expected distribution. Exterior contamination of the transformer tank is detected based on the comparison.

The TPM system can further include a controller that can be configured to receive captured sensor data from the plurality of sensors, and a communications interface that can be configured to communicate the captured sensor data to a remote system for evaluation thereof to determine one or more operational parameters of the distribution transformer and an amount of deterioration of the surge arrester.

摘要: The disclosure discloses a power transformer winding fault positioning method based on deep convolutional neural network integrated with visual identification, including 1) a winding equivalent circuit is established, and a transfer function thereof is calculated; 2) a sine wave excitation source is set at one end of the power transformer winding to obtain the amplitude-frequency characteristic curve of each winding node; 3) circuits under various fault statuses are subjected to scanning frequency response analysis to extract amplitude-frequency characteristics; 4) a feature matrix is established based on the obtained amplitude-frequency characteristics; 5) scanning frequency response analysis is performed on the diagnosed power transformer to form a feature matrix; 6) the feature matrix is converted into an image, simulation and historical detection data are used as a training set, and a deep convolutional neural network is input for training; 7) diagnosed transformer is subjected to fault classification and positioning.

摘要: A method for analyzing a correlation between rail transit and direct current (DC) magnetic bias of a transformer includes the following steps: A: obtaining a current of a feed cable and a DC magnetic bias current: measuring the feed cable current in rail transit and the DC magnetic bias current of a transformer in a power grid within a certain period by a monitoring apparatus; B: calculating a characteristic quantity of the feed current within the measurement period based on the obtained current of the feed cable; C: calculating a characteristic quantity of the DC magnetic bias current within the measurement period based on the DC magnetic bias current; and D: calculating a support degree and a confidence coefficient based on the calculated characteristic quantity of the feed current and the calculated characteristic quantity of the DC magnetic bias current, and generating a correlation rule.
