Abstract: The present disclosure discloses an earphone. The earphone may include a hook-shaped component, a connecting component, and a holding component. When the earphone is in a wearing state, the hook-shaped component may be configured to hang between a rear side of an ear of a user and a head of the user. The holding component may be configured to contact a front side of the ear. The connecting component may be configured to connect the hook-shaped component and the holding component and extend from the head to an outside of the head to cooperate with the hook-shaped component to provide the holding component with a pressing force on the front side of the ear.

In an audio setup that includes a headset configurable to process audio for a first player participating in an online multiplayer game, a headset preset may be requested from a central headset preset depository, where the headset preset includes values for one or more configurable parameter settings relating to operation or functions of the headset, where the headset preset is uploaded into the central headset preset depository by someone other than the first user, where the headset preset is associated with an identification information for uniquely identifying the headset preset, and where requesting the head present includes providing the identification information to the central headset preset depository. In response to acceptance of the request, the headset preset may be downloaded from the central headset preset depository into the headset, and the headset may be configured based on the headset preset.

Abstract: A microphone may comprise a microphone element for detecting sound, and a digital signal processor configured to process a first audio signal that is based on the sound in accordance with a selected one of a plurality of digital signal processing (DSP) modes. Each of the DSP modes may be for processing the first audio signal in a different way. For example, the DSP modes may account for distance of the person speaking (e.g., near versus far) and/or desired tone (e.g., darker, neutral, or bright tone). At least some of the modes may have, for example, an automatic level control setting to provide a more consistent volume as the user changes their distance from the microphone or changes their speaking level, and that may be associated with particular default (and/or adjustable) values of the parameters attack, hold, decay, maximum gain, and/or target gain, each depending upon which DSP is being applied.
