Abstract:
An input device for use in input of data to a document screen displayed on a touch panel of a terminal device according to the present disclosure detects a touch operation performed on the touch panel in a detection unit. When the touch operation is detected, the input device transmits device information including at least a device ID of the input device to the terminal device.
Abstract:
The electronic camera has an imaging device that images a subject with subject reflectance R (%) with a dynamic range wider than that at displaying or printing to acquire image data and a recording device that converts the image data acquired by the imaging device with a predetermined function and records the converted image data and the information on the function as digital values (digit). Therefore, a printed image with an automatically or manually corrected density can be obtained at the displaying or the printing.
Abstract:
To obtain the same print result from MFPs with different specifications. When it is instructed to store image data read by a scanner of an MFP of a plurality of MFPs which forms the grid computing system, resources of an MFP converts a format of image data into a common format according to device profile information of the MFP and the image data whose format is converted is stored in a storage area shared in the system.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus inputs image data including a first pixel group, a second pixel group generated by interpolating the first pixel group and verification data of the first pixel group, verifies whether the first pixel group has been altered using the first pixel group and the verification data, verifies whether the second pixel group has been altered by determining whether the second pixel group and the first pixel group are in a predetermined relationship, and determines whether the image data has been altered based on results of the verification as to whether the first pixel group has been altered and the verification as to whether the second pixel group has been altered.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and articles of manufacture to enhance automation of conversion and/or persistent storage of color management information embedded within an associated, received data object. Features and aspects hereof provide that color management information embedded within an identified data object (e.g., an image data object) is converted to an appropriate form useful within the printing environment and persistently stored for re-use in conjunction with presentation of received data objects in a print job. For example, an ICC profile embedded within a received image data object may be converted to an AFP color management resource (a color conversion CMR and/or zero or more link CMRs) and persistently stored in an object library for re-use in presentation of print jobs. The conversion and persistent storage of such color management information may be substantially automated as a step in the installation of the underlying data object.

Abstract:
Various embodiments provide for the ability to convert back and forth between a RAW image file and a processed image file by associating metadata with the processed image file. The metadata is useable to effect conversion between and amongst image files. In addition, in at least some embodiments, a processing pipeline incorporates functions to access proprietary extensions to convert back and forth between RAW image files and processed image files using the associated metadata.
Abstract:
A system and method for image acquisition enables selective automated application of color management to color image data generated by an image-capturing device by the device driver for the device. In the image acquisition system, each image-capturing device has properties or operation parameters that can be set to control the operation of the device. During an image acquisition operation, color image data generated by the image-capturing device are transmitted to the device driver. If the operation parameters of the device are set to indicate that color management is to be performed, the device driver calls color management functions provided by the operating system to perform the desired color operation, such as a color space conversion, on the received color image data. The processed color image data are then sent to the image-processing application for further processing or editing.
Abstract:
An updating unit updates a color-conversion table stored in a storing unit. An image processing unit processes an input image data based on updated color-conversion table. A tamper-resistant chip that includes a first collecting unit that collects log information related to a usage of the image processing apparatus, a generating unit that generates a hash value corresponding to collected log information, and a recording unit that records generated hash value. An acquiring unit acquires the log information corresponding to the hash value by referring to recorded hash value. The updating unit updates the color-conversion table based on acquired log information.
Abstract:
A display unit color-correction method includes: a first step of displaying a prescribed image on a display unit of a portable communication terminal that includes an imaging unit and the display unit; a second step of acquiring imaging data by imaging a color chart, which is a printed matter, and the display unit with the prescribed image displayed thereon together or individually by the imaging unit; and a third step of correcting a color of the display unit by using color information on the prescribed image in the imaging data and color information on a color in the color chart in the imaging data.
