    Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for covering the connection point (10) between two elongate, electrically conductive components (11, 12) in a moisture-tight manner, which device comprises a tubular sleeve (2) that surrounds the connection point (10). In the mounted position, a sealing element (3, 4) is attached to each of the two axial ends of the sleeve (2), which sealing element closes the sleeve (2) and lies tightly against the wall of the sleeve and has a feed-through (13, 14) for one of the electrically conductive components (11, 12), which feed-through is matched to the shape of the electrically conductive component (11, 12) in question in such a way that said electrically conductive component is tightly surrounded. In the mounted position, a cover (5, 6) that encompasses the sleeve and the sealing element (3, 4) located in the sleeve is attached to each of the ends of the sleeve (2), which cover has a feed-through (15, 16) for one of each of the electrically conductive components (11, 12). In the mounted position, the covers (5, 6) are attached to the sleeve (2) in such a way that each of the sealing elements (3, 4) is clamped between the cover (5, 6) and the sleeve (2).

    Abstract: A mechanical and/or electrical connector grips onto one or more members inside a hollow passageway of a spiral connector by means of the spiral, or a portion of the spiral being pulled axially to elongate the spiral/spiral-portion, which consequently reduces the diameter of the passageway. The reduction in the diameter of the passageway causes the spiral/spiral-portion to tighten/squeeze/grip on or around the member(s) inside the passageway, to retain the member(s) inside the passageway. Thus, the spiral/spiral-portion mechanically connects the inserted member(s) to each other and/or to another object to which the spiral/spiral-portion is mechanically connected. For example, members inserted into opposite ends of the passageway, or multiple members inserted together into one end of the passageway, will be mechanically connected. The spiral/spiral-portion may be used to mechanically connect one or more members inserted into one, or optionally two ends of the passageway, to a fastener that is connected to or fixed to another object, for example, a construction or other utilitarian element. Adjustment systems may be included to length, shorten, pivot or swing portions of the connector for improved orientation and/or tension of connect members.

    Abstract: A one-piece metallic connector is configured to receive a fastener and has features that grip and electrically bond two conductors as they are clamped together when the fastener is tightened. The connector's generally U-shaped body has first and second legs, a bight portion joining the legs and an opening in each leg through which a single mounting fastener can extend. When installed with the outside of one leg abutting one conductor, another conductor is clamped between the legs. At least one outer projection (tooth) on the outer face of one leg engages the conductor to which the connector is mounted. At least one inner projection (tooth) on the same leg engages the conductor clamped between the legs. A recess on the inner face of the distal portion of the other leg is configured to cradle the clamped conductor.
