摘要： An electrical contact element is provided that includes a connection region for connecting an electrical conductor and a contact region for contacting a counter-contact element, wherein the connection region is substantially in the form of a hollow cylinder and includes an internal wall surface and an external wall surface, and wherein, in the connection region, a contacting body is arranged with which strands of the conductor can be pressed against the internal wall surface of the connection region. A method is also provided wherein the strands of the conductor to be connected are introduced into the connection region of the contact element and a mandrel of the blind rivet is pulled out on the contact side using riveting pliers. The contacting body is compressed in the process and as a result the strands are pressed against the internal wall of the connection region. Lastly, the mandrel breaks off at a defined breaking point.

摘要： A fastener for use in joining dissimilar materials manufactured by the process of producing the fastener with an external surface that forms an electrically insulating oxide layer when subjected to oxidation and, after manufacture and prior to use, subjecting the fastener to a pre-oxidation process to grow the desired oxide layer in situ on the external surface of the fastener. The present invention also provides a dissimilar material joint in which the pre-oxidized fastener is used to mechanically join dissimilar materials with the oxide layer electrically insulating the fastener from at least one of the dissimilar materials. The fastener may be a rivet used in friction self-piercing riveting (F-SPR). The fastener may be fabricated from an alloy capable of forming Al2O3 or Cr2O3 by thermal oxidation. The fastener may be pre-coated with Al or Cr that functions as a seed layer to form Al2O3 or Cr2O3.

摘要： A headphone wire includes a plurality of inner cores each having a conductor and enamel coating layer covered on the conductor so as to provide an insulation effect. The inner cores are covered with an insulating skin and interwoven together inside it; one end of the inner cores is penetrated out of the insulating skin to form an electroplating end, on which a tin plated portion is electroplated; and a connecting terminal is riveted onto the tin plated portion.
