    摘要: The gearbox has synchronizers and at least one speed ratio set of gears which is non-synchronized. The synchronized set of gears are actuated by parallel longitudinally movable rods. A first rod which moves the movable means is connected to a second rod which relates to one of the synchronizers by automatically withdrawable connecting means so that the beginning of the displacement from its position of rest of the first rod causes a displacement of the second rod, said displacement, which precedes the engagement of the non-synchronized set of gears, being of such extent that it just puts the synchronizers into action without engaging the corresponding speed ratio. The second rod carries a slidable sleeve having withdrawable means for connection to the second rod and means for positively driving the second rod at the same time as the first rod.

    摘要: The invention is to suppress the increase of axial lengths of each input shaft and each output shaft and increase the number of gear shift stages. A transmission device transmits a driving force of a crankshaft from a first transmission to a drive wheel side through a second transmission. The first transmission is provided with a first countershaft to which the driving force from the crankshaft is transmitted, and a first drive shaft to which the driving force of the first countershaft is transmitted. The second transmission is provided with a second countershaft to which the driving force of the first drive shaft is transmitted, and a second drive shaft to which the driving force of the second countershaft is transmitted and which transmits the driving force to the drive wheel side. The first and second transmissions are disposed side by side in a front/rear direction. Each of the first and second transmissions is set to have a plurality of gear shift stages.

    摘要: A manual shift transmission having multiple input and output portions is provided with a control having input and output shift rails. A laterally movable control shaft extends axially through cutouts in respective shift rails and carries cams adapted to cooperate with cam follower surfaces on corresponding cutouts to effect rectilinear movement of the shift rails upon rotation of the control shaft. The cams are arranged on the shaft so that the shaft may be positioned to place respective cams in register with the input and output shift rails while all other cams are out of register with the rail cutouts. The shift movement of respective output and input shift rails is overlapped during the rotation of the control shaft to decrease the throw of the shift lever. The control shaft is spring biased to provide variable resistance in response to movement of a control lever to enable the operator to determine his position in the shift pattern of the transmission.
