摘要: The invention provides, in some aspects, a system for implementing a rule derived basis to display volumetric image sets. In various embodiments of the invention, the selection of the images to be displayed, the generation of the 3-D volumetric image from measured 2-D images including the rendering parameters and styles, the choice of viewing directions and 2-D projection images based on the viewing directions, the layout of the projection images, and the formation of a video can be determined using a rule derived basis. In an embodiment of the present invention, the user is presented with sequential images making up a video displayed based on their preferences without having to first manually adjust parameters. The present invention allows for novel ways of viewing such images to detect microcalcifications and obstructions when reviewing Digital Breast Tomosynthesis and other volumetric mammography images.

摘要: A system includes one or more storage devices storing a set of instructions and at least one processor in communication with the storage device. When executing the instructions, the at least one processor is configured to cause the system to obtain a first operating state of an X-ray imaging device, and obtain a first input from a user via a terminal, the first input being associated with a second operating state of the X-ray imaging device. The at least one processor may further cause the system to determine whether the first input satisfies a switch condition. Upon a determination that the first input satisfies the switch condition, the at least one processor may further cause the system to transmit a first instruction to switch the X-ray imaging device from the first operating state to the second operating state.

摘要: Provided is a radiographic imaging device including: a first hardware processor; a sensor that includes multiple semiconductor elements arranged two-dimensionally and multiple switch elements respectively connected to the semiconductor elements; a gate driver that causes each of the switch elements of the sensor to switch between a conductive state and non-conductive state so as to release charge from each of the semiconductor elements; and a reader that performs readout of a signal value according to an amount of the charge released by the each of the semiconductor elements of the sensor. The first hardware processor sets an imaging condition that affects a dose of radiation reaching the sensor, selects a gate readout pattern according to the set imaging condition among different gate readout patterns, and drives the gate driver and the reader using the selected gate readout pattern.

摘要: A system for performing a scan of internal structures of an object/patient is provided. The system includes a radiation source operative to emit a radiation beam, a radiation detector operative to receive the radiation beam and generate an output signal based at least in part on the received radiation beam, and a controller in electronic communication with the radiation source and the radiation detector and operative to generate at least one image of the object/patient. The controller is further operative to determine an offset of the at least one image relative to an image reference and to employ the offset to automatically align the at least one image with the image reference without the need for stopping the operation of the radiation source and detector to reposition the object/patient being scanned.

摘要: Methods and systems are described for operating an intra-oral imaging sensor that includes a housing, an image sensing component at least partially housed within the housing, and a temperature sensor. An output of the temperature indicative of a sensed temperature is received and evaluated to determine whether the intra-oral imaging sensor is positioned in the mouth of the patient. The determination of whether the temperature sensor may be based on one or more determined conditions including whether a current temperature exceeds a threshold, whether a first derivative of the sensed temperature exceeds a rate-of-change threshold, and whether a second derivative of the sensed temperature exceeds a temperature acceleration threshold. In some implementations, the operation of the intra-oral imaging sensor is automatically adjusted in response to a determination that the sensor has been placed inside the mouth of a patient.

摘要: A computer-implemented method for generating and simulating a computed tomography (CT) protocol is provided. The method includes receiving, via a graphical user interface, at a processor user input including patient population size settings and scan technique settings for modeling the effects of the scan technique settings across a patient population as a function of patient size. The method also includes generating, via the processor, a patient population profile based on at least the patient population size settings and the scan technique settings, wherein the patient population profile includes specific CT scan technique settings to be applied across different size ranges of the patient population as a function of patient size. The method further includes displaying, on the graphical user interface, one or more visualization elements illustrating the effect of these specific CT scan technique settings on specific imaging metrics across the patient population.
