    摘要: The invention pertains to a novel method for enhancing clarity and reducing the acidity of brewed coffee beverages. By incorporating potassium bicarbonate into either 1) roasted coffee beans (whole or ground) or 2) instant coffee granules, or 3) by providing potassium bicarbonate mixed with a carrier which can be added directly to brewed coffee, the turbidity of the resulting brewed coffee is significantly decreased, thereby improving its visual appeal. Additionally, the acidity of the brewed coffee is lowered, making it more palatable and potentially alleviating gastrointestinal discomfort often associated with acidic beverages. The process allows for customization based on the desired strength of the coffee and the chosen brewing method. This innovation presents a promising solution to enhance the overall quality and consumer satisfaction of coffee products.

    摘要: This disclosure describes a method for coating coffee beans, the method comprising providing a water-ethanol solution comprising at least 20% ethanol by volume, mixing at least one ingredient with the solution, extracting one or more of micronutrients and organic compounds from the at least one ingredient into the solution to create an extract, roasting coffee beans at a temperature that is in a range from about 120 to about 375 degrees Celsius to form roasted coffee beans, cooling the roasted coffee beans to between 32 and 120 degrees Celsius, and applying the extract on an exterior surface of the roasted coffee beans while they are in this temperature range to form coated coffee beans, wherein a weight ratio of the extract to the coffee beans ranges from about 0.1% to about 40%, and wherein the applying comprises simultaneously spraying the extract on and stirring the roasted coffee beans.

    摘要: A method for creating a coffee drink that having the addition of a nutraceutical additive composition of milk thistle; chromium picolinate, and carnitine. Milk thistle is present from about 50 to 99.7 parts by weight of the total composition, and preferably 50 to 60 parts by weight. Chromium picolinate is present from about 0.01 to 0.23 parts by weight of the composition and preferably from 0.01 to 0.1 parts by weight. Carnitine is present from about 0 to 50 parts by weight of the total composition, and preferably 40 to 50 parts by weight. The coffee drink can be created by an admixture of the composition with ground beans, sprayed and/or coated on the bean prior to grinding, or added to a brewed much the same as one would add sugar or other known flavor additives. The instant composition does not subtract from the flavor and improves human physiology by assisting in weight loss, body cleansing, weight loss, fat burning, and sugar regulation.

    摘要: The present invention describes new compositions of matter comprising (1) roasted coffee beans in either whole bean form or in ground form to which a formulation containing resveratrol and glycerin and/or specified additional additives have been added, (2) liquid beverages extracted at a pressure of less than 2000 bar from said roasted coffee beans or grounds to which a formulation containing resveratrol and glycerin and/or specified additional additives have been added; and (3) so-called “instant coffee” or “soluble coffee” prepared from roasted coffee beans to which a formulation containing resveratrol and glycerin and/or specified additional additives have been added, but in which a pulverized coffee component is specifically excluded. The formulation including glycerin leads to increased solubility and bioavailability of resveratrol. By adding a formulation containing resveratrol and glycerin to roasted coffee beans and/or instant coffee, consumers enjoy the health benefits of resveratrol in their coffee without drinking red wine.
