Abstract:
A cutting machine having a rotatingly driven cutting tool (2) and a tool guard (1). The tool guard (1) has a first tool guard part (11) which is fixedly mounted with respect to the apparatus and a second tool guard part (12) which can be pivotably mounted relative to the first tool guard part (11). Each tool guard part includes side walls (30, 32) lying adjacent to respective sides of the cutting tool and a center web which connects the two side walls to each other. The center web (31) extends curved in the peripheral direction and is disposed above the cutting tool (2). In order to perform a disturbance-free pendular cut, the pivotable second tool guard part (12) carries a slide piece (40) which projects beyond the end edge (34) of the center web (31) and has a rounded outer slide surface (35) facing away from the center web (31). The end edge (34) faces away from the fixed first tool guard part (11).
Abstract:
A method for assembling motor vehicles, in particular personal motor vehicles having a self-supporting shell involves equipping the respective shell of the motor vehicle with a corresponding chassis and equipping the chassis with vehicle wheels at least before an end of a main assembly line has been reached.
Abstract:
A floor module for a motor vehicle includes a floor shell, which can be fastened to a shell of the motor vehicle, and equipment with a plurality of variant-specific constructional units arranged on the floor shell. A method for assembling a floor module involves equipping a respective shell of the motor vehicle with a floor module with corresponding chassis and drive train.

Abstract:
A portable spray apparatus (1) is provided to selectively discharge liquid spray medium and solid dust medium with a blower airflow (7) generated by a blower (6). An adaptor (8) is provided which has at least a channel section (9) of a liquids channel (10) for the liquid spray medium and a channel section (11) of a solids channel (12) for the solid dust medium. The adaptor (8) is releasably connected to a supply vessel (4). The liquids channel (10) and the solids channel (12) open into the blower airflow (7). Various built-in positions of the supply vessel (4) and of the adaptor (8) are freely selectable relative to each other and to the blower unit (3) by the operator. In one built-in position, the liquids channel (10) is connected via its channel section (9) to an interior space (13) of the supply vessel (4) and, in another built-in position, the solids channel (12) is connected to this interior space (13) via the channel section (11) thereof.
Abstract:
A support device (1) is for supporting a portable handheld work apparatus including an overhead branch cutter (3). The support device (1) is held to the body of the operator (17) via a belt arrangement (2). The support device (1) includes a cup (15) which has support straps (11) which are fixed to the cup (15). The free ends of the support straps (11) can be coupled to the belt arrangement (2).
Abstract:
A portable handheld work apparatus, such as a motorized cultivator (1) or the like, includes a frame (2) which extends essentially in the longitudinal direction (21) of the work apparatus. A drive motor (3) is fixed at one end (22) of the frame (2) and a work tool is driven by this drive motor. The opposite-lying end (23) includes at least a handle (7, 8) for guiding the work apparatus during the operation thereof. In order to make possible an ergonomic work posture of the operator, the handle (7, 8) lies facing away upwardly from the ground surface (42) in the work position of the motorized work apparatus. The work position is a position in which the work tool lies on the ground surface (42) to be worked.
Abstract:
A method for assembling motor vehicles in which a drive train, chassis and floor module are pre-assembled and then connected to a shell of the motor vehicle. The floor module is pre-assembled in a first pre-assembly process and the drive train and the chassis are pre-assembled in a second pre-assembly process. The floor module, the drive train and the chassis are combined and then connected to the shell of the motor vehicle.
Abstract:
A portable spraying device has an internal combustion engine and a blower driven by the internal combustion engine. A blower tube is connected to the blower and conveys a blowing air stream generated in the blower. A spraying agent reservoir is provided and a spraying agent line is connect to the reservoir and conveys a spraying agent stream from the reservoir into the blowing air stream. A control valve is arranged in the spraying agent line. A throttle control acts on the internal combustion engine for controlling an engine output. A stop switch acts on the internal combustion engine for interrupting ignition. An actuating element acts on the control valve for actuating the control valve to control the spraying agent stream. A handle with a handle head is provided and the throttle control, the stop switch, and the actuating element are arranged in the handle head.
Abstract:
A system and method is disclosed for exposing complete call flow speech components to users via Web services that are called by converged voice-Web server applications. The Web service call flow speech components may be accessed by application server pages resident on a Web server and accessible through either a telephony environment or a data network environment, such as the Internet. The Web service call flow speech objects automatically generate the appropriate speech access formatting into the corresponding server application page. By removing the speech component programming from development of the application server page, the representative embodiments expand the potential use of multimodal and or converged voice-Web applications and devices.
