    摘要: A portable handheld work apparatus, such as a motorized cultivator (1) or the like, includes a frame (2) which extends essentially in the longitudinal direction (21) of the work apparatus. A drive motor (3) is fixed at one end (22) of the frame (2) and a work tool is driven by this drive motor. The opposite-lying end (23) includes at least a handle (7, 8) for guiding the work apparatus during the operation thereof. In order to make possible an ergonomic work posture of the operator, the handle (7, 8) lies facing away upwardly from the ground surface (42) in the work position of the motorized work apparatus. The work position is a position in which the work tool lies on the ground surface (42) to be worked.

    摘要: A manually guided implement is provided and has an internal combustion engine and a power take-off housing to which the engine is secured. A centrifugal clutch is provided for achieving a positive connection, as a function of engine speed, between a drive part, which is driven by the engine and is rotatably mounted on the engine side, and a power take-off part that is rotatably mounted in the housing. The clutch has at least one centrifugally actuatable clutch body in the region of the drive part, and in the region of the power take-off part has a clutch housing that overlaps the clutch body. The clutch furthermore has a locating bearing that is disposed between and coaxial with the drive part and the power take-off part. Locating pins are provided for aligning the engine relative to the housing, with the pins extending with play into appropriate receiving openings.

    摘要: The invention is directed to a cutter apparatus having a stationary blade and a rotating blade. The rotating blade is driven in rotation by a drive motor. The rotating motion causes the knife and blade to slide relative and over each other in a manner of scissors. The blade and knife each include a plurality of cutting edges with the cutting edges of the knife and blade being so arranged that they run toward each other at an angle opening outwardly. The cutting edges of the stationary blade are formed on radially extending fingers arranged in a star-shaped configuration which facilitates the manipulation of the cutter apparatus and improves the cutting quality thereof. The cutting apparatus is suitable for all kinds of vegetation including leaves and grass blades.

    摘要: The invention is directed to an arrangement for actuating a braking device for bringing a motor-driven work tool of a work apparatus to standstill. The braking device is actuated by a brake lever and the brake lever is connected to a pivotably journalled throttle lever via a first actuator. The throttle lever controls the carburetor of the engine driving the work apparatus via a second actuator. In order to bring the work tool rapidly to standstill in idle, the second actuator is attached to a drag lever which is pivotable relative to the throttle lever. After passing through an idle movement path, the throtle lever takes the drag lever along via a follower in a pivot direction.

    摘要: A manually guided implement having an air-cooled internal combustion engine for driving a tool is provided. The engine is disposed in a housing, with cooling air being conveyed by a fan wheel that is fixedly held on the crankshaft of the engine and that is accommodated in a cooling air spiral case that is open toward the engine. Formed in the housing is an air inlet via which ambient air can be drawn into the cooling air spiral case. A base of the spiral case is disposed between the fan wheel and the engine and is provided with a second cooling air inlet that provides communication between the interior of the housing and portions of the cooling air spiral case that convey cooling air.

Control elements, such as a gas throttle and an arresting element, are pivotably disposed on a grip of the implement disposed remote from the motor. The arresting element is fixed in position on the throttle by a pivot joint, and is held in a position of rest by a spring element. The arresting element can be pivoted out of the rest position into an arresting position by the hand of an operator. The arresting position defines a starting throttle position of the gas throttle on the grip of the implement.

    摘要: The invention is directed to a rearward handle arrangement for a handheld portable tool defining a horizontal axis and having a motor housing and a forward handle fixedly attached to the housing so as to permit two-handed operation of the tool by an operator. The rearward handle arrangement includes: a carrier part for attaching the rearward handle arrangement to the housing of the tool; a rearward handle; and, a bearing journal for rotatably journalling the rearward handle in the carrier part so as to permit the rearward handle to rotate about the horizontal axis relative to the carrier part and the forward handle. The carrier part and the reaward handle conjointly define an interface and an unlatchable detent is disposed at this interface for self-latching the rearward handle on the carrier part at any one of a plurality of predetermined angular positions about the horizontal axis. These angular positions correspond to respective work positions in which the tool can be held by the operator.
