Methods and apparatuses are provided for indicating a discovery signal resource by a User Equipment (UE) performing device-to-device communication. The UE receives information relating to the device-to-device communication from a base station. A synchronization signal including discovery signal-related information, is transmitted from the UE to a nearby UE, based on the information relating to the device-to-device communication. A discovery is performed based on the discovery signal-related information.
Abstract:
A discovery signal transmission/reception method and an apparatus for improving energy efficiency of the system are provided. The discovery signal transmission method of a base station in a mobile communication system according to the present disclosure includes acquiring a discovery signal configuration of a neighbor cell, transmitting the discovery signal configuration to a terminal, receiving a measurement report including a result of measurement on a discovery signal of the neighbor from the terminal, the measurement being performed based on the discovery signal configuration, and determining whether to make a handover decision for the terminal based on the measurement report. The discovery signal transmission/reception method of the present disclosure is advantageous in improving energy efficiency of a mobile communication system.

The present invention relates to a procedure for transceiving a sounding reference signal and to a method for operating sounding in a wireless communication system in which an uplink control channel resource dynamically changes. More particularly, the method for transmitting a sounding reference signal by a terminal in a wireless communication system according to the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving uplink/downlink configuration information transmitted from a base station; checking whether a conflict occurs between a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource region based on the uplink/downlink configuration information and a sounding reference signal (SRS); and skipping the transmission of the SRS upon the occurrence of a conflict. The present invention has the advantage of efficiently solving the problem of conflicts between the SRS and the uplink control channel resource without increasing the power consumption burden in the terminal or without excessive restrictions on an SRS transmission subframe or sounding band.

The method includes generating a rotation matrix using previously selected codeword; generating a new differential code book using the rotation matrix and a differential code book; selecting a code word from the new differential code book; and performing data transmission using the selected code word.

A physical channel transmission method using inter-eNB carrier aggregation is provided for improvement of peak data rate and system throughput in a wireless communication system. The physical channel transmission method of a terminal in a communication system supporting carrier aggregation includes receiving carrier aggregation configuration information from a network; aggregating a plurality of carriers according to the carrier aggregation configuration information; and transmitting an uplink control channel on a common uplink frequency on which a plurality of base stations join the carrier aggregation.

Methods and apparatuses are provided in which at least one parameter associated with a sidelink transmission is received from a base station. It is identified whether an uplink transmission is scheduled in a transmission time interval (TTI) in which a sidelink transmission to a second terminal is scheduled. The sidelink transmission is transmitted to the second terminal in the TTI in case that no uplink transmission is scheduled in the TTI. The sidelink transmission is transmitted based on a smaller transmission power value from two transmission power values.

Disclosed is a method of transmitting/receiving a signal by a transmission device in a mobile communication system. The method includes: receiving information related to synchronization signals from a Base Station (BS); transmitting a first synchronization signal based on the received information; and receiving a second synchronization signal corresponding to the first synchronization signal based on the received information. When a UE cannot receive a synchronization signal from the BS or is located beyond a coverage of the BS, or when the BS cannot operate due to an emergency or disaster situation, UEs can configure self synchronization therebetween in a predetermined area without any assistance from the BS and thus broadcast and unicast transmission are possible between the UEs based on the synchronization.

A method for transmitting control information by a base station in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes determining a precoder to be applied to a resource and a Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) port, the resource being used to transmit the control information, and the DMRS port corresponding to the resource and being used to transmit a DMRS, precoding the resource and the DMRS port by using the determined precoder, and transmitting the control information and the DMRS to a user equipment.
