Abstract: A non-terrestrial network (NTN) node transmits configuration information including an indication of a maximum transmission block size (TBS) for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission or a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). A TBS for the PUSCH or PDSCH is determined based on at least the indicated TBS, and one of a signal indicates one of a maximum modulation and coding scheme (MCS) for the PUSCH or PDSCH transmission or whether the PUSCH or PDSCH transmission uses a default MCS, or the MCS is determined based on at least the indicated maximum MCS, and the PUSCH is transmitted or the PDSCH is received based on the determined TBS and the determined MCS. A maximum TBS, a maximum MCS, or a number of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARD) processes is indicated by a master information block (MIB), a system information block (SIB), or radio resource control (RRC) signaling.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided in which at least one parameter associated with a sidelink transmission is received from a base station. It is identified whether an uplink transmission is scheduled in a transmission time interval (TTI) in which a sidelink transmission to a second terminal is scheduled. The sidelink transmission is transmitted to the second terminal in the TTI in case that no uplink transmission is scheduled in the TTI. The sidelink transmission is transmitted based on a smaller transmission power value from two transmission power values.

Abstract: A server, method, and computer-readable storage medium for coverage prediction in wireless networks. The server includes a memory storing instructions and a processor operably connected to the memory, which is configured to execute the instructions to cause the server to identify a region of interest (RoI) for the coverage prediction; determine, using a neural network, a set of values for a system performance metric for areas in the RoI, respectively; and generate the coverage prediction for the RoI which associates the areas in the RoI with a determined value in the set of values. The set of values for the system performance metric is determined based on a plurality of data samples for a set of RoIs which include at least one of building height, terrain height, foliage height, clutter data that classifies land cover, line-of-sight indication data, antenna height, and ground truth data for the system performance metric.

If the subscriber station is configured to transmit ACK/NACK using one uplink transmit antenna port and channel selection with PUCCH format 1B, a modulation symbol is transmitted on one (PUCCH) i determined based at least partly upon a channel selection mapping table. If the subscriber station is configured to transmit ACK/NACK using two uplink transmit antenna ports and channel selection with PUCCH format 1B, the ACK/NACK modulation symbol is transmitted on two PUCCHs.
