    Abstract: According to various embodiments of the disclosure, a portable communication device may include: a processor, a communication circuit, at least one first type antenna circuitry, and at least one second type antenna circuitry, wherein the at least one first type antenna circuitry may include an antenna array configured to transmit and/or receive a signal, a power amplifier configured to amplify a transmit signal and a low noise amplifier configured to amplify a received signal, the at least one second type antenna circuitry may include an antenna array configured to receive a signal and a low noise amplifier configured to amplify a received signal, the at least one second type antenna circuitry not including a power amplifier for amplifying a transmit signal, wherein the processor may be configured to control the portable communication device to transmit a transmit signal through the at least one first type antenna circuitry, and to receive a receive signal through at least one selected from the at least one first type antenna circuitry and the at least one second type antenna circuitry.

An electronic device may include: a housing, a main substrate s disposed in an inner space of the housing and including a first surface facing a first direction and a second surface facing a second direction opposite to the first direction, and an antenna module disposed on the main substrate, wherein the antenna module includes a first substrate disposed on the first surface of the main substrate and including at least one antenna, the main substrate including multiple through-holes, multiple antenna structures disposed to penetrate the multiple through-holes, respectively, and include at least one antenna element including at least one antenna spaced at a designated interval, and matching structure comprising impedance matching circuitry disposed on the first substrate and configured to match impedance for the at least one antenna element included in each of the multiple antenna structures.

    Abstract: An electronic device and method thereof of are provided to prevent burnout due to overcurrent. An electronic device includes a power amplifier configured to amplify a transmission signal; a battery configured to provide a bias voltage to the at least one power amplifier; and an overcurrent protection circuit configured to prevent overcurrent from flowing through the power amplifier. The overcurrent protection circuit includes a configurer configured to configure a reference current value, based on the power amplifier; a measurer configured to measure a bias current value due to the bias voltage; a comparator configured to compare the measured bias current value with the reference current value; and a controller configured to recognize overcurrent flowing through the power amplifier and control provision of the bias voltage, based on a result of the comparison.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes an antenna, a transmission path electrically connected to the antenna and including at least one amplifier, a transceiver connected to the transmission path and converting a signal, a feedback path connected between the transmission path and the transceiver, at least one processor connected to the transceiver and communicating with at least one external electronic device by using the transceiver, and a memory connected to the at least one processor. The processor may obtain first information about a first phase and a first magnitude, which are associated with the first frequency, and second information about a second phase and a second magnitude, which are associated with a multiplied frequency of the first frequency, from the transmission signal and the reflection signal using the transceiver, and may determine a state of the electronic device based on the first information and the second information.
