摘要： A protective sealant composition that is useful for sealing a colorant to a substrate, such as carpet. The protective sealant composition is formulated such that, upon drying, the composition forms a topcoat on the surface of the substrate, with the topcoat having a hard component and a soft component. The composition provides a durable protection against color fading and resoiling to the applied colorant, as well as to the rest of the surface of the substrate. The composition also provides wear resistance to the carpet by reducing the amount that the widths of the top ends of carpet fibers increase when subjected to wearing.

摘要： An aerosol dispenser assembly is disclosed that includes a container holding a liquid product and a compressed gas propellant for propelling the liquid product from the container. A design methodology for the actuator body and swirl nozzle insert is disclosed for maintaining a small particle size or Sauter Mean Diameter (D[3, 2]) of less than 48 μm at a suitable spray rate (1.5-2 g/s), while utilizing a compressed gas VOC-free propellant for an air freshener product. As obtaining reduced particle size to compete with LPG propellants may result in a reduced spray rate, it is anticipated that one or more nozzles may be designed into the actuator body to maintain a suitable spray rate.

摘要： A composition for treating a surface such as carpets. The composition includes a film forming polyurethane dispersion having first and second film forming polyurethane dispersions. The film forming polyurethane dispersion forms a film when applied to a surface such as a polyester fiber carpet, and the film, upon drying, forms a topcoat on the surface (e.g., the polyester fiber carpet). The first film forming polyurethane dispersion forms a hard component of the topcoat, and the second film forming polyurethane dispersion forms a soft component of the topcoat. The composition also has a solvent that coalesces particles of a surface colorant and causes the particles to flow into the surface, such as carpet fibers, when the composition is applied to the surface. The composition seals and protects a portion of the surface, such as polyester fiber carpet, to which the colorant is applied.
