Abstract: This disclosure describes a method and apparatus for performing tessellation in a graphics process. A graphics processing unit may be configured to determine tessellation factors for a first patch of the graphics data, determine, based on the tessellation factors, that a first edge of an outermost ring of the first patch will produce only degenerated sub-primitives, and skip performing tessellation for the first edge. A graphics processing unit may determine that a second edge of the outermost ring of the first patch will produce at least some normal sub-primitives, and perform tessellation for the second edge to produce output primitives.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for wireless communication. A wireless device such as an in-vehicle system (IVS) may transmit an emergency call (eCall) message to a third party eCall server using a communication session which may be packet based or circuit based. The eCall message may include session information and telematics data. The third party eCall server may relay the session information and telematics data to a public safety answering point (PSAP). For example, the third party eCall server may generate an automatic text-to-speech message that is transmitted to the PSAP over a public communications network. In some cases, the third party eCall server may transmit a response to the wireless device including metadata based on the telematics data transmitted in the eCall message. The eCall message may also include a call-back number, and the PSAP may contact the wireless device directly using the call-back number.

Abstract: Various aspects include methods for supporting Enhancement for Television (ENTV) service delivery to a user equipment (UE) in a fifth generation new radio (5G-NR) radio access network (RAN). Various aspects may include generating an ENTV capability message, the ENTV capability message indicating one or more ENTV parameters of the UE, and sending the ENTV capability message to a Next Generation NodeB (gNB) of the 5G-NR RAN. Various aspects may include receiving a ENTV capability message from the UE, the ENTV capability message indicating one or more ENTV parameters of the UE, determining one or more radio resource configurations for the UE based at least in part on the one or more ENTV parameters of the UE, and generating a configuration message indicating the one or more radio resource configurations for the UE, and sending the configuration message to the UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A device may transmit first control signaling indicating a capability for switching between carriers of a group of carriers during uplink communications using carrier aggregation. The group of carriers include three or more carriers that are each associated with different radio frequency bands. The device may receive second control signaling that includes an indication for the device to switch to a subset of carriers of the group of carriers for transmission of an uplink message. The subset of carriers may be associated with a combination of radio frequency bands. The device may transmit the uplink message on at least one of the subset of carriers in accordance with a mapping between the combination of radio frequency bands and the at least one of the subset of carriers, where the mapping is based on the capability.
