Abstract: According to embodiments, solutions on UL packet dropping are proposed. A terminal device determines a set of data packets to be transmitted to a network device. The terminal device transmits information to the network device. The information indicates a buffer status report of the set of data packets and a packet delay budget associated with the buffer status report. In this way, it avoids transmitting out-of-date data, thereby avoiding wasting resources.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and apparatus of data transmission in a wireless communication system and a method and apparatus of receiving data in a wireless communication system. The method of data reception comprises transmitting a request for the RRC message to the network node based on default transmission parameters; and receiving the RRC message from the network node at a predetermined time unit. With embodiments of the present disclosure, it is possible to request the RRC message when the terminal device need this message and therefore the RRC message transmission can be reduced and in turn, the inter-node interference can be limited, and the number of LBTs required for these signal transmissions can be reduced if they are transmitted on unlicensed spectrum.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and computer readable media for communication. A terminal device determines whether a radio link control, RLC, entity re-establishment for a radio bearer is to be performed, the radio bearer being configured with a transmission of data in an inactive state. If it is determined that the RLC entity re-establishment is to be performed, the terminal device re-establishes the RLC entity. After that, the terminal device transmits uplink data in the inactive state on the radio bearer. In this way, an RLC entity re-establishment is able to be handled for radio bearer configured with SDT if the terminal device determines that the RLC entity re-establishment needs to be performed for the SDT, thereby improving performance of the SDT procedure.

Abstract: According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a solution for supporting repetitions for a plurality of downlink data transmission scheduled by signal downlink control information is proposed. A terminal device receives downlink control information scheduling a plurality of downlink data transmissions with repetitions from a network device. The terminal device determines a HARQ-ACK codebook for the plurality of downlink data transmissions based on a repetition pattern for the plurality of downlink data transmissions and the slot offset. The terminal device transmits a feedback for the repetitions for the downlink data transmissions based on the HARQ-ACK codebook to the network device. In this way, it achieves a flexible repetition patterns for the plurality of downlink data transmissions scheduled by signal DCI, which improves the coverage/reliability performance for data transmission.
