Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide method and devices for signaling transmission in unlicensed band. The method comprising determining a signal transmission pattern, which defines time and frequency resources for transmitting at least one signal in a first frequency band; signaling, via a second frequency band, the signal transmission pattern to a first device; and transmitting the at least one signal via the first frequency band, to the first device, according to the signal transmission pattern; wherein a transmission of one of the at least one signal is skipped if time and frequency resource for the transmission defined by the signal transmission pattern is detected as busy. Corresponding methods and devices for receiving a signal which is transmitted using above method are also disclosed.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and apparatus of data transmission in a wireless communication system and a method and apparatus of receiving data in a wireless communication system. The method of data reception comprises transmitting a request for the RRC message to the network node based on default transmission parameters; and receiving the RRC message from the network node at a predetermined time unit. With embodiments of the present disclosure, it is possible to request the RRC message when the terminal device need this message and therefore the RRC message transmission can be reduced and in turn, the inter-node interference can be limited, and the number of LBTs required for these signal transmissions can be reduced if they are transmitted on unlicensed spectrum.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatuses of transmitting information and receiving information in a wireless communication system. In the method of transmitting information, the information comprises at least two of a reference signal and more than one radio resource control (RRC) message. The method comprises transmitting the at least two of the reference signal and the more than one RRC message by using a same time unit or at least two continuous time units, wherein the at least two of the reference signal and the more than one RRC message have a same time offset or different time offsets and have a same transmission periodicity or transmission periodicities which are different multiples of a predetermined periodicity. Thus, the interference to other systems or nodes can be limited, and the number of LBTs required for these signal transmissions can be reduced if they are transmitted on unlicensed spectrum.

Abstract: A method for performing transmission between a base station and a terminal device according to a frame structure over an unlicensed spectrum in a wireless network that supports communications over a licensed spectrum and the unlicensed spectrum. The frame structure includes a first set of time resources and at least a first number of consecutive downlink subframes. The method includes determining, during the first set of time resources, availability of an unlicensed carrier in the unlicensed spectrum and reserving a subset in the first set of time resources on the unlicensed carrier upon the unlicensed carrier being determined to be available. The method also includes performing downlink transmission from the base station to the terminal device at least partially within the first number of consecutive downlink subframes on at least the unlicensed carrier in response to a duration of the reserved subset of time resources expiring.
