Abstract:
A sheet material includes a polycarbonate substrate and a protective coating containing the reaction products of an aminoplast resin, a polyol compound, and a UV-absorbing amount of a triazine compound. The sheet material exhibits an improved balance of abrasion resistance, solvent resistance, weatherability, and formability. Methods of preparing the sheet material are described.
Abstract:
A thermoplastic composition is disclosed, containing poly(arylene ether) resin; vinyl aromatic resin; a hindered amine light stabilizer; an ultraviolet light absorbing compound, and about 0.1% by weight to about 2.0% by weight of titanium dioxide, based on the total weight of poly(arylene ether) resin and vinyl aromatic resin. Other thermoplastic compositions described herein contain poly(arylene ether) resin; vinyl aromatic resin; an ultraviolet light absorbing compound, and at least one methine yellow colorant. Molded articles prepared from these compositions are also described.
Abstract:
A processor may include a scheduler configured to issue operations and a load store unit configured to execute memory operations issued by the scheduler. The load store unit is configured to store information identifying memory operations issued to the load store unit. In response to detection of incorrect data speculation for one of the issued memory operations, the load store unit is configured to replay at least one of the issued memory operations by providing an indication to the scheduler. The scheduler is configured to responsively reissue the memory operations identified by the load store unit.
Abstract:
In one of its aspects the invention is directed to rubber modified thermoplastic resin compositions comprising discontinuous elastomeric phase particles derived from a unitary rubber substrate having at least a bimodal particle size distribution, wherein the elastomeric phase particles comprise a polymer having structural units derived from at least one (C1-C12)alkyl(meth)acrylate monomer and are dispersed in a rigid thermoplastic phase, wherein at least a portion of the rigid thermoplastic phase is grafted as a shell to elastomeric phase core particles, and wherein the rigid thermoplastic phase comprises structural units derived from at least one vinyl aromatic monomer, at least one monoethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer and at least one (C1-C12)alkyl- or aryl-(meth)acrylate monomer. In another aspect the rigid thermoplastic phase of the compositions comprises a first thermoplastic phase at least a portion of which is grafted to the elastomeric phase; and a second thermoplastic phase comprising a polymer prepared separately in the absence of elastomeric phase and added to the composition.

Abstract:
A system may include an instruction cache, a trace cache including a plurality of trace cache entries, and a trace generator coupled to the instruction cache and the trace cache. The trace generator may be configured to receive a group of instructions output by the instruction cache for storage in one of the plurality of trace cache entries. The trace generator may be configured to detect an exceptional instruction within the group of instructions and to prevent the exceptional instruction from being stored in a same one of the plurality of trace cache entries as any non-exceptional instruction.
Abstract:
A microprocessor may include a dispatch unit configured to dispatch load and store operations and a load store unit configured to store information associated with load and store operations dispatched by the dispatch unit. The load store unit includes a STLF (Store-to-Load Forwarding) buffer that includes a plurality of entries. The load store unit is configured to generate an index dependent on at least a portion of an address of a load operation, to use the index to select one of the plurality of entries, and to forward data included in the one of the plurality of entries as a result of the load operation.
