Abstract: This application provides a data access method, a database system, and a storage apparatus. In technical solutions provided in this application, a computing device includes a database operation request in a transmission command sent to a storage device. The database operation request is used to request to perform an operation on a data object in a database. After receiving the transmission command, the storage device parses the transmission command to obtain the database operation request, and then performs, on the data object in the operation request, the operation that is requested by the operation request, without conversion performed by a file system or a block device. Therefore, efficiency of the database system accessing data is improved.

Abstract: With sidelink reservation signals sent together with the sidelink data, there is the possibility of interference with other sidelink signals. In order to address this, systems and methods are provided in which a first UE transmits a reservation signal to indicate at least one time-frequency resource for transmitting sidelink data. Following this, the first UE transmits at least one sidelink data transmission to a second UE using the at least one time-frequency resource indicated by the reservation signal. The reservation signal is transmitted before the at least one sidelink data transmission signal so that a third UE may detect the reservation signal and use the reservation signal to avoid using the at least one time-frequency resource indicated in the reservation signal.

Some formats feature half-slot switching meaning that a switch from uplink to downlink transmission takes place twice within a slot. Switching on a more frequent basis can deliver improved latency.

Abstract: Methods and devices utilizing sidelink transmission between user equipment (UEs) for HARQ retransmission are provided. The sidelink HARQ retransmissions include data from the initial transmission or an outer coded version thereof. HARQ feedback from the targeted receiver of the initial transmission may identify code block groups and/or individual code blocks the target receiver did not successfully decode. A UE that has not successfully decoded an entire transport block, may still cooperate in HARQ retransmission for the targeted receiver of the transport block by retransmitting at least a subset of the code block groups that it was able to successfully decode for the transport block.

Abstract: Longer pilot sequences can be supported by transmitting pilot values of a given pilot sequence over different orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (OFDM) symbols of an uplink frame. The pilot values may be contiguous, or non-contiguous, with one another in the time domain. Consecutive pilot values in a pilot sequence may be transmitted in different OFDM symbols of the frame. For example, odd pilot values (e.g., P1, P3, P5 . . . ) in a pilot sequence may be transmitted over a different OFDM symbol than even pilot values (e.g., P2, P4, P6 . . . ) in the pilot sequence. Alternatively, a leading subset of pilot values in a pilot sequence is transmitted over a different OFDM symbol than a trailing subset of pilot values in the pilot sequence.
