Abstract: A method includes the following. A first communications device obtains an ith data packet, divides the ith data packet into N data blocks, performs fountain-code encoding on the N data blocks to generate K fountain-code codewords, generates K protocol data units (PDUs) based on the K fountain-code codewords, and sends the K PDUs to a second communications device; and after the first communications device receives first acknowledgement information sent by the second communications device, the first communications device stops, based on the first acknowledgement information, sending a to-be-sent PDU in the K PDUs to the second communications device.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application relate to the field of data transmission, and provide a data transmission method, a communications device, a terminal, and a base station. In at least one embodiment, different configuration parameters are configured for data packets having different importance, so that an important data packet is ensured at a high priority. In at least one embodiment, a communications device is configured to determine an attribute of a data packet to be transmitted, where the attribute of the data packet is used to indicate importance of the data packet. The communications device is configured to transmit the data packet by using a configuration parameter corresponding to the attribute of the data packet.

Abstract: A method for a handover of a mobile station performed by a source base station and a target base station. The target base station receives a handover request message, from the source base station, in which includes QoS information of the mobile device, radio bearer identifier information of the source base station, and a first mapping relationship between a flow and a radio bearer of the source base station, the target base station acknowledges with a handover acknowledgement message. Therefore resource preparation at the target base station during a handover procedure is improved.

Abstract: This application provides example communication methods and example communications apparatuses, to implement bearer mapping for user data transmission. One example method is applied to a wireless backhaul system having a first network and a second network of different RATs. The example method includes obtaining, by a first management network element in the wireless backhaul system, information about a first radio bearer of a terminal in the first network, where the information about the first radio bearer is used to indicate the first radio bearer. The first management network element can then determine a mapping relationship between the first radio bearer and a second radio bearer based on the information about the first radio bearer, where the second radio bearer is a radio bearer of the first device in the second network.
