Abstract: An image encoding/decoding method and apparatus are provided. An image encoding method performed by an image encoding apparatus may comprise determining an intra-prediction mode of a current block, configuring a reference sample of intra prediction by using at least one of a neighbor pixel of the current block in a current picture and a pixel of a reference picture, and performing intra prediction for the current block based on the intra-prediction mode and the reference sample.

Abstract: An image encoding/decoding method and apparatus for performing intra prediction are provided. An image decoding method of the present invention comprises deriving an intra-prediction mode for a current block, determining whether or not a left boundary or an upper boundary of the current block is a boundary of a predetermined image region, configuring a reference sample by using at least one reconstructed sample included in at least one reconstructed sample line adjacent to the current block based on the determination result, and performing intra-prediction for the current block based on the intra-prediction mode and the reference sample.

Abstract: An image encoding/decoding method and apparatus are provided. An image decoding method of the present invention comprises decoding first information indicating whether a maximum of N intra prediction modes are used or a maximum of M intra prediction modes are used for an intra prediction for a current block, in which the M is smaller than the N, deriving an intra prediction mode of the current block, inverse-mapping the derived intra prediction mode on a corresponding intra prediction mode among the maximum N intra prediction modes when the decoded first information indicates that the maximum M intra prediction modes are used for the intra prediction for the current block, and generating an intra prediction block by performing an intra prediction for the current block, based on the inverse-mapped intra prediction mode.

Abstract: An optical fiber cable of a mobile fronthaul system based on a radio over fiber (RoF), which includes a control apparatus for monitoring an analog optical link according to an exemplary embodiment, may be monitored. The monitoring control apparatus may include an optical signal monitor to monitor an optical signal passing through an optical fiber cable, and a system controller to control the optical signal based on a result of the monitoring. The optical signal monitor may calculate an average optical power, carrier-to-noise ratio (CNR), and a size of a nonlinear component from an electrical signal, which has been acquired from the optical signal. Then, the optical signal monitor may control the calculated average optical power, CNR, and nonlinear component.
